  1. So yesterday, the partner distributor of Gigabyte in my country, posted on their facebook page the pre-order price list refresh for the upcoming Gigabyte cards, and two of them are 3060s with 8GB of VRAM, prices not listed yet. Then today, a partner shop of them, listed on their page the prices of said models, as shown in the picture below. The base model, listed at 540$ here, is around the ballpark of 2060 supers sold here. So it could be that these cards will be available at around 400$ MSRP. I have read articles of leaked Gigabyte card models but to see an unannounced product listed for pre-order by the very people who imports and distributes here on Gigabyte's behalf, it's a bit of a shock. Any thoughts?
  2. Hyper 212 Black Edition, for its great performance for the price. The Masterliquid 240L is not a good aio. And for a 3600, the 212 is more than enough. For its acoustic and thermal performance, you won’t be disappointed
  3. Thank you. Yes, my case has restricted airflow but ive checked on reviews and forums and my model in particular has bad thermal and acoustic performance. That’s why I’m aiming at a top-tier 5700xt. I think I’ll take your advice and wait.
  4. I currently have a 2060, more specifically, a gigabyte oc model. The card runs hot and loud, but otherwise the performance is fine. So I can sell the card now and upgrade to a 5700xt Red Devil (which is on sale and stock might not last very long) for about 150$ premium over the resale price. Is it worth it? Or should I stick with it until 3060 comes along and potentially lose more resale value but maybe better performance?
  5. I believe so. I have the Silencio S600. Not a great case for airflow but the internal layout is shared with the NR600. It too comes with the ODD at the front, and it can be removed so yes, I think you can remove that drive bay.
  6. A lot of cases I found on the first website are not familiar to me but what I can recommend you is two cooler master cases. NR600 and the TD500 Mesh. The TD500 Mesh is a bit over your budget but check out and decide for yourself. Both with mesh front panels. Great airflow (TD500 Mesh is better and comes with 3ARGB fans). The NR600 is unfortunately the ODD version, which means you can only mount two fans at the front, but it already comes with two fans. A friend of mine has that case and airflow is not a problem at all. Your other requirements also fit those cases I believe. I’ll leave you the Gamersnexus reviews of those cases if you want to check in depth. https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3464-cooler-master-nr600-case-review-very-competitive-case https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3594-cooler-master-masterbox-td500-mesh-case-review
  7. Those units will cost around 100$ in my region. I currently have a 3600 and a 2060. I may get a 5700xt or a 2060 super depending on how much I can sell my 2060 for. The psu would be long term this time. At least 5 years if things go well. I don’t have a set budget but 100$ is as far as I can go
  8. So I’ve been looking at power supplies for potential upgrade over my MWE 550W white. And I saw that the gigabyte G750H and the Core GX 650W are almost the same price with 5 and 7 years warranty respectively, both 80 plus gold and modular. And I noticed that the gigabyte unit is listed one tier above the seasonic in the psu tier list. And I haven’t been able to find reviews on the gigabyte unit. Is gigabyte good at PSUs? Which one is the better one? Wattage is not a problem.
  9. Hi. I recently bought a B450m Steel Legend along with an R5 3600. I’ve never experienced RGB stuff and I haven’t add anything RGB at all to the case. But I saw on Asrock’s product page that the motherboard supports its Polychrome RGB syncing stuff, so I downloaded the software. I played around and noticed that I can’t set a single colour to the onboard RGBs. I can choose white but it will still stack up or mesh with other colours like red, blue, yellow etc. Is there anyway to workaround this using a third-party software or is it just not possible? Also I can’t choose individually for the ID Cover and the PCH Heatsink. Is it not supported for this particular motherboard? Thank you all in advance.
  10. Ah, dammit. Too late. I only read like 5 reviews and it’s a popular psu in my country. We don’t have seasonic here. Corsair and cooler master are the only other options and they’re at least twice the price for the same wattage. I’m intending to swap out and upgrade some parts next year along with my old monitor and other peripherals. I’ll add this to the list. Thanks for your input
  11. For 1080p60, 1660 super is a great card, but wait for the rx 5500 launch. 1070ti is definitely better than both of those cards but it's more power hungry and in directx 12 titles, it's not that far ahead of the 1660 super.
  12. Hi. I'm currently planning to build a pc myself - never done before. I've ordered most of the main components. The case is the CoolerMaster Silencio S600TG and it comes with two 120mm fans, one front and one rear. I'm wondering if i should add any additional fans to the case. I wont be doing any overclocking to the cpu but slight oc to the gpu. If I should add, which fan config would be best in your opinion? The main objective is to keep components at a reasonable temperature and noise levels at kinda normal - not hoping silence but not too loud. Here's the component list - Ryzen 5 3600 with stock cooler Asrock B450m Steel Legend Gigabyte RTX 2060 Gaming OC Hyper-X Fury 3200MHz 16GB XPG SX8200 256GB Seagate Barracuda 1TB CoolerMaster Silencio S600TG Thermaltake Litepower 500W Cheers
