  1. So I’m switching to PC pretty soon as Playstation and Xbox just aren’t fun to me anymore, but I don’t know a damn thing about building but I’m willing to give it a shot! But I thought I’d come here and see if I could get some tips on a nice setup. A guy sent me a setup but I also want some opinions on it and maybe see if I should spend extra or keep that setup. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor ASRock B450M Pro4-F Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory Sabrent Rocket 512 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive MSI GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB VENTUS OC Video Card Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX Mini Tower Case EVGA BQ 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply Deepcool RF 120 (3 in 1) 56.5 CFM 120 mm Fans That’s around $776 for me. Should I spend more? Or is that a good setup for a beginner? Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Honestly looks good for a first 1080p60 build. Few notes:

      • You will want a second hard drive for games. Get a 2TB HDD on the side to go with that m.2
      • That case is all mesh to begin with so you should have no issues with airflow. Unless you want that RGB look the extra 120mm fans are a bit unnecessary.
      • Go with a fully modular power supply. You will thank me later if you want to upgrade the look of your PC with new cables down the line.

In terms of spending obviously you can spend more on a graphics card to future proof yourself, but I love the pair of a 2060 with a 2600. Overall I think this is a well balanced build.

      Good luck!
