  1. Basicaly, every iOS feature is being put natively onto the Watch, especially things like HomeKit. You can even request to see glances for apps not on the Watch, so long as the phone has it. HealthKit will also be natively on the Watch. Basically everything will natively run on it. The Watch can finally put that onboard WiFi to use.
  2. Native apps ahoy. Developers can now make their own information for the watch faces that have such a thing. Time Travel. Basically using the digital crown to peek ahead into whatever you have lined up for the day.
  3. 30 billion dollars have been paid out to developers. Thats impressive.
  4. Swift is entirely open source.
  5. HomeKit is now remote accessible via iCloud, and it supports more types of products like security systems and automation. CarPlay now has true car integration, letting you change car settings if a manufacturer desires to integrate apps that way. Which is pretty cool.
  6. Picture in Picture on these devices. Spliteview only on the Air 2. Makes sense, if its demanding enough why gimp other devices and ruin the experience? Power saving mode that automatically triggers itself, 3 more hours of battery. iOS upgrade size is now 1.8GB, not 4.6GB.
  7. This one was a long, long time coming. Multitasking. Finally. PRAISE GABEN! Wait, wrong person to praise. PRAISE DUARTE! No wait, wrong. PRAISE STEVE! Close enough.
  8. Large list of content providers for News. Flipboard and others like them are probably shutting bricks right now. Because Google deserves to be told "fuck you" for their policies. New keyboard layout for the iPad, more shortcuts and now has a trackpad function.
  9. I'll add that I didn't make this thread because I'm mad on the behalf of @Kloaked. Being blocked? Meh. Its to show that Logan is a big baby when he gets valid criticism, yet he himself acts like the schoolyard bully when dishing it out. The hypocrisy is amazing. And then you have people who take what people like him say like they are prophets of the lord. Logan acts like his shit don't stink, calls out others for their opinions, then breaks down like the runner up at a science fair who can't believe people didn't agree with what he did.
  10. I snoozed through this, but I guess its a built in aggregation system for your various sources.
  11. Apple Maps are getting Transit, most important thing ever. 5 billion requests per week. 3.5 times more than Google maps on iOS. Google Maps really did get burned by not being the default app.
  12. Apple Pay now supports store cards and rewards cards. Take that MCX! Passbook is now Wallet. Incoming Google lawsuit?
  13. He talked shit, he got hit. Rule of life. He goes out of his way to make people feel bad when they disagree, now he is acting like a manchild because people are asking him entirely relevant, entirely sensible questions. He's the kind of kid who gets upset and takes THE OTHER KIDS ball home as if he owns it.
  14. Apple, firing shots against Google. All the information used to pull the more advanced searches and suggestions STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE. It is 100% secured. You know what else is amazing? apple is effectively saying they can do on device what Google insists on needing a internet connection for. #winning More retailers are on board for Apple Pay now: Square is launching a tap and pay system that supports Apple Pay Apple Pay in the UK
  15. Logan got mad that a member of LTT was asking him a relevant question. It concerned the fact that Logan (who was okay with Thermaltake stealing CaseLabs designs) was not okay with other companies using OnePlus's "Never Settle" slogan. Even though Never Settle is generic, and has been used by many companies before. https://twitter.com/KyleDIRE/status/607950287903428608 The lesson is that Logan, if you can't handle people talking shit and calling your crap out, perhaps don't talk shit in the first place. And stop having temper tantrums against those who disagree with you. Most importantly, don't hide shit from the internet.
  16. Siri is busy, and she is learning. Has the same natural language search that OS X is getting. New UI as well. Proactive Assistance. Not Prostate, in case you were getting confused. Like playing your favourite playlist once you plug in your headphones, Calendar now has traffic included by DEFAULT (before, you and to tell it to factor in travel time) Siri can now hunt your emails and texts to caller information. Siri is just getting plain smarter with suggestions.
  17. iOS 8 has 83% adoption, that is mental for any OS.
  18. Which is what every company does off every company these days, lets not pretend anyone is really "innovating" the way we expect them to anymore.
  19. Draw call performance is up by 10 times, Epic is now going to be making a demo about Metal. No word if actual metal is involved. JK, Unreal Editor is involved
  20. How much faster is El Capitan? 1.4 times. How? Because they are totally metal, dude. Apple is tossing out OpenGL, moving towards Metal (likely pushing Swift on OS X as well). IF anyone could do it, it certainly is Apple.

LOL, Logan from TekSyndicate blocked Kloaked on…

    So pathetic, so damn pathetic
  22. Windows now has snapping. I mean OS X now has snapping. Yes, I meant to say that. OS X now has the single best feature that Windows has ever made. WINDOW SNAPPING FOR THE WIN.
  23. Holy crap this one was a long time coming. Spotlight can now be moved around and resized. INNOVATION! MAGICAL! REVOLUTIONARY! The entire OS now has natural language search. Which is pretty neat
  24. Pinned sites, smarter favourites I guess? Safari can also now mute from a tab, In before Google lovers tell us that Chrome did it first
  25. 55% of OS X users are on Yosemite. The adoption rates are pretty good, its not shocking that they have such high adoption numbers. OSX El Capitan. Yes. Thats the name. The amount of fucks that Apple is giving right now? Roughly none. Performance and experience, hopefully that means more power user features.
