  1. I recently purchased a laptop, The Asus Laptop 15 X515JA. I needed the extra ports provided when using a usb-c hub with the laptop. Upon trying to use a usb-c hub. It showed up with error that the device is not recognized. The usb-c hub's ports behaved as followed The usb 3.1 ports only ran at usb 2 . The HDMI port just didn't work at all. The ethernet worked. I tested with another hub and got the same results. I updated the drivers in device manager and that still did no solve my issue.
  2. I have done that and it didn't solve anything
  3. I have been trying to look up how to fix this and i haven't had any luck. Any solutions?
  4. There is a hidden administrator account that can be activated through cmd. You can try your luck with that.
  5. @Eigenvektor It worked, i tried to update without the battery in and it worked.?? Thanks so much!
  6. @EigenvektorI will try that battery method but i don't have all too much hope in it. I can rule out that space is not an issue as i have more than enough storage on my SSD for an update (60GB+ free space). I have tried looking at the error logs but it doesn't help much.
  7. I have been having an issue with updating to the latest version of windows (1909 & 1903). The update download but the issue arises with the restart and update process. So it restarts then it begins the the update, after it restart automatically then shortly after it shows a quick error message and then the laptop switches off. I have a lenovo G50-80 & the battery doesn't charge. Could it be the battery causing the issue or something else?
