  1. This is for a friend of mine and I've been asked to see what I can dig up in regards to this issue. They have an elgato capture HD60s card and are having issues with frames being dropped. They have two modes of streaming right now which are using one PC running Windows 10 to stream, or with a dual computer setup where their Windows 7 PC is being treated like a console(As software cannot be loaded to it. I don't know why.), and it's linked to the Windows 10 PC through the Elgato Card through the display port. Thanks for any and all help gang, and may your frame rates be high and your temps low. If needed I can provide a link to one of their VODs where the dropping of frames can be seen.
  2. Hey folks, managed to get one of these things and finally end my long drawn out GPU hunt, people have said I should replace the pads, but I'm unsure of the thickness I need, or what is used to remove, I guess I would say adhesive from what would be the old pads. Also, what sort of tool should I use to unplug and replug in the small cables. Any advice would be awesome!
  3. Where does this PSU rank in the tier list? I don't see an entry for it. https://www.newegg.com/silverstone-sst-st1300-ti-1300w/p/N82E16817256195?Item=N82E16817256195&
  4. Is there much difference between HX and HXi? Like are they both Multi rail switchable still? Same with the other corsair PSU's with RMi and RM, etc.AX and AXi.
  5. Looking to get a new PSU for a system I'm working on Planned build is as follows: CPU: 5900X GPU: God willing a 3080 from LTT, or somewhere. Possibly EVGA FTW 3, or 3080 ROG Strix OC?, or Gigabyte Aorus Extreme? Something 3080. MOBO: X570 MAG Tomahawk RAM - G.Skill Neo Trident Z 32 GB(2x16GB 3600mhz.) Storage: 2 TB NVME, 1 TB NVME. I've been out of the loop on PSU's for a while, and aimming for titanium or platinum cert because I'm a bit paranoid on PSU's since I had one go and short out an old system I had like 5 years ago. Thanks! Budget for PSu is between $200 and $400 with more of a desire for around $300.

  7. This affects GPUs too. The last drop for Bestbuy, was abnomally low. Not looking good for regular peeps.
  8. Problem is I need to upgrade my CPU and GPU and MB since my GPU is dying. This is my current line of thought for the build. The PSU I'll hopefully be recycling from my current computer. 9. Also, what is Nahimic and why do some people seem so concerned about it?
  10. So how good is the MSI MEG X570 UNIFY ATX AM4 Motherboard? I'm looking at it for a possible motherboard for a new computer that requires a CPU and Motherboard upgrade, and I'm looking to use a 5600X with it. However, some of the more recent Newegg reviews on the Motherboard have me especially worried. Does anyone have experience with this board or is there another X570 board I should look at? https://www.newegg.com/msi-meg-x570-unify/p/N82E16813144273
  11. The FTC person in the video said they have tools to rapidly go through channels and find people who violate this. It doesn't matter what your stuff looks like, if you swear, or what's in the video, if it looks like it is for kids from a distance, it will invoke the fine and the minimum fine is $42,000.
  12. This video by Jang bricks has a really good breakdown of this going over COPPA, the Settlement, Youtubes response, and what it all means. It doesn't matter if you swear. If google doesn't automatically flag it, and the FTC thinks your video targets kid, 42k fine, at the least, FOR ONE VIDEO. That's not counting other videos in your channel. If you have ten videos the FTC deems to be targetting children through their own algorithims or tools, which can't differentiate an action figure from a statue, and a small child action figure to a collectors piece, or one of their people thinks it is, that's $420,000 in fines right there. This affects everything, coverage of toys, conventions, video games, movies, pretty much everything on youtube really. Google/Youtube, has tossed the content creators under the bus rather than police itself. They won't cover you. They will not protect you. The only real protection you have is "I make content that targets kids." Context does not matter here for the FTC, even Cosplay isn't protected with this If you think you can just take it to court to get rid of it, just remember, how much that actually costs, and if you have the means to do it, as you likely do not. Someone with a lot of resources would need to be the person to do it, as most do not.
