i am writing for a friend so this is what happened he accidentally broke his old motherboard (while cleaning) so he sold his old cpu(4th gen intel) and his old ddr3 ram and bought a new b365m-h gigabyte , 8 gb ddr4 3200 ram and a i3 9100f , he asked for my help ,i connected everything correctly and booted the pc and no signal ,i took out the ram and reseated it nothing then the cpu and nothing then put my own graphic card(1660ti) in and it booted normally ,when i asked him what did he do with the card he told me he cleaned it with a wipe and some 70% alcohol , i switched the pci to legacy ,and put the old card and nothing ,i put his card in my own rig (same motherboard) and it didn't boot ,i updated the drivers of the motherboard didn't help, i am not sure what happened did he brick the card while cleaning it or some compatibility issue i am not aware of
