  1. The reason I want it is because I have a Razer mouse with double clicking issues and Synapse 2.0 is super irritating.

  3. So I have another update. I managed to get hold of a monitor for a day and attempted plugging my GPU in using DVI. That displayed nothing. I tried the same thing with integrated graphics DVI, but yet again got nothing. But when I plugged my xbox in through DVI it displayed it fine. Could both my GPU DVI and motherboard DVI be broken?
  4. The only other ports on the GPU are displayport, I am afraid my monitor does not support it.
  5. Sorry about all these quick updates with most likely useless information but I have tried plugging my PC into a TV through a DVI to HDMI adapter. That sort of worked but the TV was kind of flashing on and off, seemed to be trying to get the right setting or something? So I just plugged it into HDMI to HDMI and that seemed to work fine. So I tried the GPU with the DVI to HDMI adapter but the TV said that it was receiving an incompatible video signal (Some Sharp TV BTW).
  6. Quick update again, when I plugged the monitor through the VGA port, the computer seems to display everything fine. Also when I still plug xbox into DVI, it also displays that fine.
  7. I don't really think it would be as I have tested it with multiple cables when my GPU wasn't working (still isn't by the way). I will test it in a minute though. Tested it, there was no difference even with a different cable. Also I forgot to mention but the monitor is very old (good 6-8 years). If its a problem with the monitor I would just replace that but I need to be sure its a monitor problem.
  8. So I have another update. I did the same stupid thing again, sorry. But this time when I was running my PC on integrated graphics. So I ended up plugging the xbox in again, yeah I started playing just for fun since a few friends play it. Anyways when I start up my PC now the monitor doesn't detect anything but when I replug the cables, unlike when I was using the GPU, the monitor does display the main screen. However, it is in a blue colour. This made me wonder about whether it was actually the GPU that was broken or not.
  9. My GPU still heats up when I feel the back where the ports are and the fan goes on. Could that be a sign that the GPU is still alive? It would really suck if it was broken...
  10. I am afraid I don't really have access to one right now. I might be able to in a few days.
  11. I just noticed you put that so I turned on PC and it was fixed... I wonder what caused the problem though. Sorry about this guys...
  12. So until now I have had an error with monitor and GPU thing which I posted here (not really resolved): http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/221505-monitor-not-displaying-anything/ But then I got a completely different error, every time I went on google and websites like that Chrome would give me an error claiming that my connection was not private with this image: http://www.petenetlive.com/KB/Media/0000992/00001.png And then when I tried to test it with IE it said there was a problem with website's certificate. Because of this I just do what I always do, even though it may not be the best method, and formatted my drive and re-installed windows. But once I did that and got all my drivers back and plugged in USB with ninite files. I had the time set on the computer to be set automatically but it didn't do it even though I was connected to the network. When I ran the ninite thing it had an error saying that the computer's date is set incorrectly. So I set the date manually and ran it again but still, same problem. I went on IE again to try download the ninite files again it gave me the message with the security certificate on both ninite and google. Then my computer said that my windows wasn't genuine which I guess happens most of the time so I just used their call service to activate windows which worked. Sorry for my bad English. Also I forgot to mention that I used a TP-Link TL-WDN3800 as a wifi card (no ethernet reaching where I have my PC) and OS is Windows 7 Professional if that matters.
