  1. Are you talking actual screen savers or themes? When I click on the screensaver from the lock screen it takes me to the standard windows screen saver window.
  2. Your problem is probably that you are trying to boot into windows that has an intel based drivers from your previous installation. You should do a clean install of windows to make sure you have the proper amd drivers installed.
  3. I think that black cable is probably the cable from the pole as it looks like it would be outside plant cable. As for the bridged mode, when I had dsl and wanted to use my own router, I had to call the isp and have them put the their modem/router into bridged mode as that option was removed from it by the isp and only be able to be turned on by them.
  4. google your dsl router. There is a lot of info about it including videos.
  5. I don't think you can bypass the isp router as it is also the dsl modem. It shouldn't bottleneck as I have done this before when I had dsl. You might have to put the isp router into bridged mode though. Look in the manual to see if you can do this, you might have to get the isp to do it for you.
  6. OK. This is just the telephone jack that carries the dsl signal. From here is should go to the dsl modem/router. You say that the only available port left is the red WAN port. The other four yellow ports have devices already plugged into them? Is this what you have?
  7. If the 'white box' you refer to is the dsl modem, then you should be able to run the ethernet cable from the modem to your new router. You have pictures of what you are talking about?
  8. It would also be good to have them in some anti-static bags while you store them.
  9. Unfortunately this is common. You pay to send it to them, and they will pay to ship it back to you. Some companies will provide a shipping label to ship to them, but this is not very common, depends on the company.
  10. Yes a switch should work. I had a some what similar problem, though in my case it was that the isp modem only had 3 lan ports and I needed more. So I just hooked up a dumb swithch and connecting everything to it. I can connect to all my devices now, including my NAS and network printer.
  11. Why not just get a portable usb card reader. Then you will only need one and can move it between systems? For example only: https://www.amazon.ca/SmartQ-C368-Multi-Card-Compatible-Supports/dp/B06Y1G18KS/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=FTQE3CBK6DG4&keywords=card+readers+for+pc&qid=1656252729&sprefix=card+reader%2Caps%2C118&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A2G0OOTWYS6KIP&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFLTlBDQUtaNk04OVYmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA2MDUzMzYzRU1YMDNTS0dRMjRVJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAyNzI0MjQ1QklXSzFWS1dZWUImd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl
  12. If you are talking about the guy to the top right, pretty sure that is not Luke. Doesn't look like him at all for me.

    I need help

Well, what is not doing. Is this a pic of your final build because it is missing a lot of connections that still have to be done. If this is a pic of the final build, then you need a cooling solution, memory is not seated properly, front panel connections are missing........etc.
  14. Have you checked to see if wifi is enabled in bios and windows, incase it was some how disabled?
  15. dumb question, but have you just tried to screw the antenna a bit tighter onto the MB. Looks like it just screws on?
  16. Does it have an 8 pin connector, sometimes it can be split to make a 6 pin. 2 of the pins can be disconnected from the 8 pin.
  17. You should be able to. The 'key' is tied to the hardware and as long as you haven't made any major changes it should activate.
  18. It looks like there are holes to screw in the gpu but they are not aligned properly. Make sure that the gpu is seated properly in the slot. You can try to push on the back of the case where the card sits to see if you can get the holes aligned also.
  19. Shouldn't be a problem though the fan will run at full speed and you won't have any control over it.

    Pc smoking

Does pc still work, did you smell anything electrical. If all is still working, I would guess that maybe some of the built up dust was knocked loose and when the fan started, it blew the dust out.
  21. You don't have fans on your radiator either?
  22. It should be as easy as taking out the old HDD and putting in the ssd and then reinstalling windows. I have done it on a number of laptops. Just looked it up and the specs say that it should already have a ssd, and nvme type. What version of the tuf does he have, how old is it?
  23. I would be suspicious of the name changing app. Have you tried running Malwarebytes?
  24. Any thing light up at all on the motherboard? Have you checked to make sure you didn't accidently bend some pins on the cpu or socket?
