  1. the quadro K4000 has the same GK106 core as the 660 and 650 Ti/Boost which surprises me it could go toe to toe with a 980 Ti. Also don't really plan to game on this rig, I have my personal rig for that, decent GPU in that one, but I don't fold on it because I need it for other stuff
  2. Me again, I found a good deal on some quadro K4000 GPUs, and I was thinking about putting two of em in my folding machine. Would two K4000 GPUs outperform a GTX 1050 Ti or should I look for something a bit more modern? I also use this rig for other stuff like modeling and rendering. It's got two Xeon E5-2680v2 CPUs and 32GB of 1600 Mhz DDR3.
  3. Aw crap I just looked at the listing Desc. says parts or not working. Had me going there. I'm sure I can find a similar one there's lots of those around here.
  4. Uh yeah I believe so. I can get a 1080 Ti for $450 USD, sound like a good deal?
  5. Yeah yeah. I've also been getting into doing some video-related stuff and the 6G buffer is completely full when rendering So maybe I should go for a 1080 Ti?
  6. About $360-$400 USD I'd go for 30 series but... Do I need to explain?
  7. Ok thank you. The GPU core does just fine in my games so if it's a little slower it's worth it for double the frame buffer.
  8. Ok so. There are several listings for a Titan X Maxwell card around my place of residence. I currently have a GTX 1660 Ti with a 6GB frame buffer. Now, I want to know if the GPU core performance is similar. Since the Titan has a 12GB frame buffer, I wanna have that because I'm playing games with higher res textures and my 1660 TI is running out of VRAM. Would the performance from the GPU itself be substantially lower on the Titan?
  9. I will say that I've had really good luck with my RAM, 2666 to 3266 with no problem. I think the DOCP profiles automatically increase voltage.
  10. thanks for your help. It's nice to know good people are still out there. Have a good (insert time of day in local region).
  11. Is my 2700 out of the box compatible with X570, because then I'll get a get a 3700X later and it'll be a nice and easy swap.
  12. 2700 non x, NH-U12S, I want maximum overclocks. I've had 4.1 @ 1.2875v
  13. What do you recommend for maximum overclocking (within reason, I have an NH-12S)
