  1. oeis.org if you ever have a sequence of numbers and want to find out if there's a known, general algorithm for it.
  2. Bitcoin uses hashing that is resistant to quantum computing. RSA and other algorithms based on modular arithmetic, primes, and elliptic curves are what are vulnerable. Edit: The part where they talk about signing is still relevant though.
  3. Probably CS Source, but I mostly played before steam tracked time. Maybe 2000 hours? WoW, Halo:CE, and Tiberian Sun: Renegade also got a lot of time.
  4. I know linux has AV available. I've gotten in the habit of using 2 computers and it's worked for me.
  5. Ever since I've moved to linux, I've been more paranoid about installing closed source software since there's no native antivirus. I still keep a windows computer around for games and anything else I don't trust. Also, installing graphics drivers have always been a pain for me. I've forgotten to disable noveau a bunch of times.
