  1. Hello Guys, I have been experiencing some very annoying things with windows unable to remember window positions after unplugging monitors for years now but recently since i went for 3 monitors due to work it has been really frustrating. I use USB c to connect all my monitors to my laptop and if i just look at them they can get disconnected. Is there an app or program that you can suggest or recommend for remembering the positions/sizes of windows after unplugging and re-plugging a monitor? Something simple is enough, all i want is when my monitor gets unplugged intentionally or unintentionally that i don't have to rearrange 15 windows again again. I know that this is now supported in Win11, unfortunately that is not an option for me. Thank you for any suggestions and have a beautiful day!
  2. Thanks i guess im a bit histeric. After i changed the voltage on my cpu i ran a bunch of Cinabench r23 and everything was good i even gained about 8% in performance. The only thing i changed with my ram is i turned on XMP and thats it, notthing else. So i just got unlucky i guess.
  3. I have the most up to date bios, there is only a beta version that is newer, don't know if it is a good idea to install that. I have undervolted my CPU not my RAM, should i just revert it back to factory settings?
  4. Hello guys, Hope everybody is doing well. I have upgraded my setup about 3 weeks ago. Went from ASRock Z370 PRO 4 with Intel i5-8400 and 2666 DDR4 CL16 Corsair Vengeance to MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge WiFi with Ryzen 5-5600X and 3600 DDR4 CL16 Crucial Ballistix. Everything was going smoothly untill yesterday when i got a BSOD with page_fault_in_nonpaged_area. I did the Windows Memory Diagnostic test and sfc/scannow found absolutly nothing and haven't had a crash since. I know it's been less then 24 hours but by the name of the error it should be a memory issue which should come up more often. Here are the things i did before the error happened: Updated windows but didn't restart yet (after the BSOD it was installed and updated) I undervolted my 5600X because i was getting high idle temps (50-60 C) under load (75-85 C), after the undervolting idle went to 35-45 C and under load 50-60 C When it happened was playing PoE and watching youtube so i was using a bit of everything What i have done so far: Raised the Voltage a bit, not to factory settings Disabled Virtual Memory in windows (set it to no pageing file) The issue haven't happened yet so i hope i have fixed it. Do you have any suggestions or questions? Can it still be a memory issue? I can provide more information if needed. I would appriciate any tips since this build cost a lot of money for me and im afraid that it might brick the whole thing. Thank you all in advance!
  5. Thank you all, bought cruical and it works like magic, i don't know how but it even bumbed my Cinabench R23 score up a bit xD
  6. Crucial is a bit expensive for me, do you think that Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3600MHz CL18 16GB kit is good? Is corsair non PRO series good?
  7. Hello everyone, hope you guys are doing well! I have a question, i moved from ASRock Z370 Pro4 with Intel Core I5-8400 to MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge WiFi (note i didn't want the wifi but the retailer didn't have anything equivalent without one) with AMD Ryzen 5 5600X. I am looking for ram from a good brand with 3600 frequency, 4x8GB, CL18 or faster, NO RGB and with a lower profile so i can fit it under my ENOURMOUS Noctua NH-D15. For a kit of 2x8 i am willing to spend around 100 Euros, so all in all for the 4x8 about 200+-. I have look around for a while but no luck with what i want, i would be very happy for any suggestions. Thank you in advance for your time
  8. Hi guys, ive been tinkering with my system to get my boot time as short as possible with one ssd and faster booting settings in windows 10. I got it down to 16 seconds from pushing the button to fully operational system. Is there any secret way to shave off even more time, maybe by using m.2 drive or anything else. And is there a limit to how fast the system can boot?
  9. It's not that i don't know what to do with my money, but going for the cheap stuff is not a good invesment into the future, going mid range esures i will have longer compatibility. What would you go for Juular? 10. Hello guys, i was thinking next year to upgrade my PC from a Intel I5 8400 and ASrock z370 Pro4 to AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. Im just not sure about what motherboard to go for, i dont want features i dont need and also dont want a budget version. I have looked at a couple of boards but cant decide. My limit is 200 euros. I have chosen a few, if you could recommend me any i would be happy. Here are the ones ive chosen: ASrock X570 PRO4 ASUS TUF Gamng X570 Plus MSI MEG X570 If there are any better ones not listed here under 200 euros, please tell me. Features i dont need: wifi Features i want: decent cooling The rest is extra. Thank you for your help in advance
  11. Be really sure you have all the slots tight, not just pcie. Power cable to the MB, connector to the cpu fan and so on. I know everybody is telling you this but a loose cable is the problem 90% of the time. Otherwise, could be the MB it self.
  12. I had a similar problem once with a cheap monitor. Does the monitor show anything at all at least for a second? I had this once and i found out that my monitor did not support the minimum frequency the GPU was putting out. I had to upgrade to a minimum of 144 and also try some adapter for the cabels like hdmi to vga or just try to boot up without the gpu and connect the monitor directly to your motherboard. If then you boot up its something with the graphics card not communicating correctly with the monitors.
