My motherboard choice has changed as I needed 1 more sata port and it's a better board....
I'm now gonna be going with the ASUS AMD AM4 ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi), which has quite a bit of the pcb covered with shielding, so the shielding itself can be painted instead. And the capacitors are mostly all silver, so I'll tape off all areas covered by shielding and the capacitors and use Plasti-Dip for the rest. Plus the rtx 2070 super card I'm going with has a backplate, so I can avoid pcb painting there too.
I'm relatively proficient at problem solving, so I just ended up doing more research lol
I wish I could find white cable passthroughs for the Corsair carbide air 540, but maybe I'll just do an acrylic cover like "IModderNation" did, or attempt to paint the passthroughs with Plasti-Dip as well
