Today a strange thing happened. My pc's all cable like cpu power cable, monitor power adaptor and routers power adaptor all are plugged into an extension board and extension board's wire goes into wall. Today voltage in my house significantly increased and my extension blown off. I didn't aware of the fact that my house voltage is increased. When I came to my room and see that light was not there on my extension. But I have to work urgently on a Excel sheet. So I plugged my pc and monitor cable directly into the wall socket. And I heard 2 bursting sound from my POWER SUPPLY UNIT and burning smell. I got scared off and immediately turned of the wall socket and unplugged the pc cable. I didn't know about high voltage yet. After 1 hour again I plugged my pc into wall socket and again heard 2 bursting sound and burning smell from PSU. Now I aware of the High voltage. I immediately contacted electricity authority of my area and get the problem sorted out. After voltage problem got solved, I am damm sure my pc is dead. Out of curiosity I plugged the pc and monitor cable into wall socket and guess what pc and monitor working fine. All components of my pc are working fine. After that I played 2-3 hrs games like warzone, cyberpunk and I didn't notice any issues and run some benchmark software all working fine. I wonder what are those bursting sounds from my PSU and burning smell. Do I need to change psu ? PSU - Cooler master MWE 650 watt 80+ bronze

Hello I live in India and I just take a 40mbps fiber connection. And I got 95ms to 98ms Ping in apex legends (Singapore servers) . But I not expirenced any lag or something. But I want to know is the above ping figure are ok or I have to do something to get lower ping. Are my enemies have upper hand if they got Lowe ping then me. I heard it somewhere that ping doesn't matter if it is under 100ms. Can someone explain.

Hello I live in India. I am getting a fiber internet connection with 40mbps speed by multinet Pvt. Ltd. I was looking for a good dual band wifi router under 2200 rs. ( 30$ ). I've done a lot of research and found a router that is TP-link archer c6 ac 1200. Is this good router or it is overkill to a 40 Mbps fiber connection. Can any one suggest me a good wifi router. Or one more thing is 40 Mbps is enough for surfing, hd streaming on Netflix and all, for online multiplayer pc games like pubg apex fortnite (lower ping ), downloading games from steam epic game store. In my family there are 5 members but none of them can connect at the same time. Thanks

I live in India. When i use mobile hotspot using Indian SIM card getting 20 mbps speed and try to play online games. I got 140ms is apex 115ms in pubg pc But my friend using 6 mbps broadband connection and he is getting 60-70 ms in apex and 70 ms in pubg. I don't get it, can someone explain. 1 more thing is 6 mbps connection is good enough for online gaming or i have to choose higher speed plan. Thanks

My internet connection is around 2 - 3 mbps. What if i connect with powerful gaming router. Will it help in reducing ping in games like apex legends, pubg?
