  1. A competition between teams to see who can complete tasks on a desktop computer (or can be in a game) powered by an empty battery PSU. The battery has to be charged and maintain power by only a cyclist (or team of cyclists) on a bicycle connected to a generator. if a team looses power. they are disqualified. Teams can switch out positions between resting, doing tasks on the computer and cranking the generator. This would be a good way to visualize how much human effort it takes to generate a couple hundred watts of power. possible variables: Teams can select what computer they want to complete the tasks in. In theory, faster computers would take more power but do tasks faster.
  2. I don't stand to gain from it. I just have an idea that I think would make for a good video.
  3. oh okay. so I guess I'm a noob. what does manually mean?
  4. ah yes. I forgot to mention. I tried with a windows installer thumb drive to just install windows over everything but it said that none of the partitions that were created were able to have windows installed on them. it was pretty strange since I just figured the windows installation software would just overwrite and do what it needed to in order to work it out.
  5. Hello, I have recently purchased an Intel 660p Series M.2 2280. like a dumdum, I just thought I could clone my current SSD to the new one. after doing that, I cannot seem to get my computer to boot. What I'd like to do now is to completely restore the new Intel ssd to a new, unpartitioned status with no data on it. Then I will just start with a fresh install of windows. How would you recommend I do that? Thanks for any help.
  6. Hello, I am looking to build a new PC for a racing simulator sometime in the future. I don't want to get overkill so my question is: what is the best cpu/gpu combination for gaming @ 1440P @ 60+ @ full quality settings frames with *drumroll* three monitors. I can wait for the next generation of hardware to come out and I don't care about team red v. green or red v. blue. many thanks!
