  1. Hello, so recently the enter button on my coolermaster masterkeys L keyboard has broken in a way such that I need a replacement keycap. Would anyone be able to suggest where I could find a replacement keycap? I am not sure if this is a standard keycap type or anything like that. I am in the UK and it is a UK layout, with the short and tall enter key (I have attached a picture of the keyboard) Thanks in advance
  2. And if they will be on AM4, when do you think AMD will change socket? (also sorry if they have already announced this but i couldn't find anything in a quick google search)
  3. So the other day, I saw someone had listed a Zotac GTX 1080 AMP edition on Ebay for £145, which is over £100 cheaper than any others, but there was a catch: they had listed it as not working/for parts. In the description, they said they had won it at work, but couldn't test it because they didn't have two 8-pin connectors. I knew there was a very good chance that it wouldn't work, but I decided it was worth a shot, so I decided to buy it. It came a few days later, and I plugged it in and everything seemed to be working fine: I booted to Windows, but then suddenly the display turned off and it stopped working. I shut down the pc and turned it on again, and from that point it wouldn't output a display at all. I decided to try and troubleshoot it the next day. Before I installed the 1080, I uninstalled all of the previous Nvidia drivers I had for my 1650 super (which works with the computer completely fine) and then I put in the gtx 1080. This time, it again booted to Windows, but it obviously had no driver. There was also quite a lot of artefacting on the screen, which I have shown in a picture attached. I tried to install a driver, first trying to download the driver directly (I tried the most recent driver and the previous one) and also installing it through GeForce Experience. All of these didn't actually install the driver, even though they did finish the install process. I then checked device manager, and the GTX 1080 had an error code 43 "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems." I also then looked in event viewer and I have shown some screenshots of what I found in Event viewer. Since my computer works fine with the 1650 super, I know the issue has something to do with the graphics card. I have a Corsair CV550 power supply to power a ryzen 5 1600 and a few fans, a sata ssd and the graphics card, which should be fine, and the graphics card has an indicator light by the 8 pins then was solid green, indicating that the power was supplied correctly. The troubleshooting steps I've tried have been very basic, just trying different display ports on the graphics card and also hdmi, but I think the issue is to do with trying to install the driver. I have also tried disabling the fact that drivers must be signed to be installed, but this did not make a difference either. Any suggestions would be great, and if I am not able to solve it I will try and cut my losses by posting it on ebay, and I will post here if I do that in case anyone else wants to try and fix this card (but it will be UK only)
  4. So we stupidly enrolled in HP Instant Ink which as a service is a massive scam because we must have paid hundreds of pounds for a couple ink cartridges, but now that we have ended it the printer won't work with those cartridges (it comes up with an error message telling you to enroll in this service). We have got a new printer so I don't need to use these cartridges (a friend had a spare printer) but these are unused ink cartridges so it would be annoying to see them go to waste. What can I do with them? I'm in the UK so services here would be very useful.
  5. Hi, so I have a couple of old CPUs which are marked Intel confidential on the CPUs - they are from 2007 and fit in a Tyan S7002 motherboard which is the LGA1336 socket with support for Intel Xeon 5500/5600 series, however, I cannot tell what CPU it is. It is clocked at 2.4GHz. On the CPU, it also says the following: QGXW ES A4 AT80602000777AA C8221660 I don't know if these will be helpful. Unfortunately, I cannot boot up a system with this chip as the motherboard no longer works, so I can't use any software to find out what CPU it is. I also do not know how we got this chip, so I can't provide any information about that. If anyone has any idea on what sort of chip this is, and whether it would be sellable for anything (if I'm even allowed to sell it), that would be great.
