  1. X: is the install media drive? Or what would that be?
  2. [1] Very high DOA rate and underrated FETs that explode under high stress. Sources : #1, #2, #3, #4. There’s a claimed fix, and some units made after early 2021 seem to be good but it’s not clear to which extent the issue was fixed and past what manufacturing date non-fixed revision wouldn’t be encountered anymore. So, there might be better options.
  3. Maybe there's an option something like "black stabilizer", not sure if Asus has it. Maybe "shadow boost". If it's at very high then that might be the issue.
  4. The PSU is in a really low tier in PSU tier list Getting a bit lower wattage but higher tier MSI MAG A650BN would be a wise move. Perhaps that would fit into the budget - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/WrNypg/seasonic-focus-plus-gold-650w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-ssr-650fx That Seasonic should be even better than MSI one.
  5. Yeah, CL16 3600MT/s RAM is quite a lot pricier usually. And I've had luck of tightening timings on all my 3600MT/s CL18 DDR4 sticks to around 16-19-19-34. Would give that a try.
  6. So it's a timebomb in a potential customers house. Should work for some time.
  7. I wouldn't suggest either. The PSU has only 19A on 12V rail - 228W Nano might consume up to 175W and CPU above 65W probably.
  8. Noctua coolers cost a premium, but don't cool much better than Thermalright dual-tower ones that cost at least half as much.
  9. Basically any Thermalright dual tower is a massive PC cooler upgrade, and strongly suggested. it does not cost too much either.
  10. Your cooler is not "positive" for much higher speed CPU. If your cooler is in your profile PC Partpicker list.

    Status Update

Worth a take a gander at: I mean it's worth watching nevertheless if you're interested in pear quality/prices or just have too much time...
  12. This might be one of my favorite songs of 2000s The Rorschach video is also perfect.
  13. Yeah, it might have been in use too long. But now, with a newer microfiber cloth the stains can't be cleaned without some liquid. Just breathing "fog" on the spots and cleaning them won't move anything in the good or bad direction. I guess I will google the solution... And yeah, my glossy preference is probably because currently the best monitor I've used is glossy, but not at all reflective as I was expecting/fearing.
  14. To be honest I still miss NFS Porsche Unleashed class of bewilderment. But yeah, most 2000s games would do. /OT
  15. I hear GTX 980Ti (Titan?) is the latest that works with some driver tweak, but perhaps an overkill... But yeah, Windows XP time was great period for games.
  16. What's that? Windex? If so, not available here.
  17. I only wish there was a secret weapon against smears on a glossy monitor. Used a micro fiber cloth to clean up a small stain - smeared it around 5x the area.
  18. Just the D.O.C.P. profile needs to be selected, like @DoctorNick wrote. Other options should be on auto/default values I think or to ones he suggested. And I think some RAM just won't show serial number for whatever reason. If you can't get it running at 2400MT/s then there's something wrong with it.
  19. In the case of asus b350 prime it should be DOCP, Intel has XMP. Somewhere in OC section of bios there should be an option like on that photo:
  20. XMP is enabled? As it really should be showing 2400Mhz at the memory section in task manager.
  21. Good price, but Zen 5 is supposedly incoming in a few months. 7900X3D is better than most Intel gaming CPUs at this point though.
  22. Indeed opinions do not make em' facts, just preferences. And yeah, I'm in the faction of glossy just because of a high quality QD-OLED probably. First glossy monitor, yet the best.
  23. Well, AMD is not better than Intel either in general case, but still people have strong opinions. And opinions is that I'm after. I used to think that too, now I see why glossy has fans. Not the 120mm kind though.
