  1. Dang it, wish I could've been done today. Is getting the same motherboard alright? I liked the ui, features and aesthetics it has when it was working and would like to keep it if possible
  2. Hello, I started a new build on ryzen with an x470 board. I borrowed a friend's 2200g to install the necessity and then downloaded the newest bios on to mobo. It went through the 100% updating section then booted straight into windows with no issue. I thought everything was set so I removed the 2200g and placed the 3700x in and the gpu fan ramped up and never went down. No post or any display, Ive tried the ram in different configs. I tried putting back the 2200g and that also won't boot with the same issue I've tried: - one stick on different slots - using the integrated gpu on the 2200g - resetting bios with the jumper - leaving each cpu on for a bit longer - use the bios recovery feature on the asus board with both a new bios on a USB stick and the old default on, and also the cd - I've tried using the speaker module to get error codes, even when I only had the cpu on it and no ram there's still no beeps to indicate what's the problem Cpu: 3700x and 2200g Ram: Trident Z Neo 3600c16 Gpu: Rtx 2080 founders edition Any help would be appreciated, I've been stuck on it for hours now and would love to just play minecraft Thanks

    Aspect Ratio

What's with the new aspect ratio on the videos? Other tech channels are using it too. Kinda annoying on cropped phones
  4. Have you tried booting with just the one ram stick (the second one)?
  5. Oh my bad, I read that as a bent pin on the mobo itself, I'm used to intel cpus being flat.
  6. Is your mobo still in warranty? Maybe you can RMA it
  7. Found this on r/buildapcsale, you can save $41 on top of that. You've only got an hour left though
  8. Yeah, you can just down clock your ram in bios, or it automatically sets it to the highest possible. Sorry, forgot about that being a thing.
  9. G2A is one of them, you'd save a buck or so but not much until the game is much older, unless you're russian.
  10. if its just one bent pin you can try re aligning it with some really small tools and a magnifying glass (or your phone all the way zoomed in), you can check the damage by booting it; see if ram slots still works or if it will post.
  11. you can use masking tape and water while drilling to prevent any cracking
  12. Have you checked this, apparently its a feature in some motherboards.
  13. It's a acrylic but if you know what you're doing maybe drill small holes into it? or cut a big hole to it and tape a mesh over it? Up to you if you care about visuals
  14. I have a crap hardware but I think that a really good mouse would affect aiming for fps, especially csgo. So I lunged for a logitech g pro wireless (found it used for 80) and it is insanely light and not a single delay difference from wired. Having jumped from a bulky heavy wired mouse, this mouse helped me get better aim as I didn't have to keep lifting the mouse just to move it; increased some of my course times by a dozen seconds. I'd also recommend a really big mouse pad if you prefer playing at a really low dpi
  15. Have you tried a bios reset with either the cmos or jumper pin? Also try booting with one stick of ram
