  1. Chat logs with Newegg, I'm not even sure if I'll be able to return the case and PSU because the box they came in was cut up and wouldn't be able to be sent back anyways. I sent a message to Lian-Li through the product on Newegg so maybe they can give me some more info. Sorry the pics aren't in order.
  2. Sorry, I didn't just mean they looked nicer they also fit the the case a lot better the old ones and like you said they were included with the new PSU so I used them.
  3. I used the cables that came with the new Lian-Li psu because they were nicer than my old ones.
  4. Ok I'll contact Newegg about it. If they can't help should I contact Lian-Li support?
  5. I looked into returning the bundle but I cut the box the case came in so I could get it out easier. Would they still except the return of the damaged box?
  6. I'm not exactly sure where this post would go as I'm not exactly just asking about a PSU. I bought a Lian-Li O11 Mini combo with a Lian-Li PSU off of Newegg last week so I could transfer my old full tower atx build to a smaller mid tower build. I got everything connected and I pressed the power switch and the fans started to spin. After about 10-15 seconds of nothing appearing on my monitor white smoke started to plume out of the back of the power supply and I quickly unplugged everything and moved the PC out of the house. After I was sure that there wasn't any fire I looked at it and I could see that the PSU had shorted or something and it was toast. I plugged in the 650w atx PSU that I was using the day before in the old build and even though all components except for the fans were the same, nothing turned on and the fans didn't even spin. The problem is it didn't just kill the PSU but at least the CPU as well; I'm not sure if any other components were damaged though like the GPU as I can't get to the BIOS with no CPU. The motherboard CPU light flashes red once then shuts off. I guess the question I'm asking is if Lian-Li would give me any money back for damaged components besides the PSU as that was the cause for other components breaking. Additional Info - Ryzen 5 2600, B450 Motherboard, RTX 2070 SUPER FE, 16gb 3000mhz ram I have an image of the PSU where the smoke left slightly burnt plastic on the fan, also smells terrible. I don't want to open it to see what exactly happened as I don't feel like getting shocked from the faulty components.
  7. It really depends on the games you want to play. If you play more story games, go for the 1440p 165hz. If you play more esports, go for the 1080p 240hz.

Might wanna wait unitl you can get one.
  9. Yes if you already have larger storage the HDD isn't needed. Also what games are you interested in playing as the1660 super is faster than the 5500xt but more money, but depending on the games your playing this might not make a big difference.
  10. I would recommend going wirth Ataxions build over mine as it's cheaper and better, biggest difference is the gpu but that is one of the easiest things to upgrade later anyways.
  11. Building in a chassis not meant for pc parts isn't a good idea, instead I would recommend looking for slim ITX cases that would be a similiar size to an xbox one x and would be for easier to build in.

I changed the motherboard as there is no point in going z490 without a K-series chip. I changed the psu as the one you chose was way above what your build would consume so this ones cheaper, I also changed the SSD as this one gives more storage and far faster speeds for not much more, and I took out the aio as it's a waste at that price point. I would recommend getting 16gb of ram for the little more it would cost but if you don't think you need it that's fine.
  13. It all depends really. If you are on the move alot get a laptop, but I would recommend a desktop. Also unless you can get a good deal on a pre-built I'd say build your own, but thats up to you.
  14. Since this post I've looked into it a bit more and I've read posts that detail G-sync working on this monitor with other 20 series cards. I've decided to go ahead and get it and if I find It doesn't' work I can always return it. Thanks for the info.
  15. The G-Sync I currently use is not actual G-Sync, just ''Gync-Compatible" but my current monitor said G-Sync Compatible when I bought it. I have just heard that enabling the G-Sync compatible setting in the Nvidia control panel on a Freesync monitor that isn't specified to work can cause it flicker or not to even work at all. I currently use a 20-series card so the lack of support wouldn't be an issue.
  16. I'm thinking of purchasing the Dark Matter 34inch monitor for my current setup. The problem is that it says Freesync only and doesn't say a thing about G-Sync, and I have a Nvidia graphics card. It pretty much matches every thing else I want in a monitor, minus the lack of G-Sync support. I know that I can enable it anyway but I'm not sure if it would work properly or even at all. I guess what I'm asking is if Nvidia saying on their website that not every Freesync monitor works with G-Sync is just them trying to get people to buy G-Sync certified ones, or is it an actual problem that I could encounter? 17. Thanks for the detailed reply, the one thing that kinda limits me is the fact that I have to buy it overseas. I really don't need a new cpu so I'll probably wait a few more months to see what ryzen 4 has to offer, like you said.
  18. Yeah, kinda what I was thinking. But I might upgrade if there's a decent sale on one of them.
  19. So I've recently been thinking about a cpu upgrade from my 2600 to a 3500x or 3500. I was going to go with the 3500x but the 3500 has the same exact clock speed and cores. Since all ryzen processors come unlocked, and the X model doesn't have a clock speed difference, what is the difference? Is the only difference the slightly bigger cooler?
  20. I recently built a new system and have been having problems with it. The screen would show up with a checkerboard of artifacts, and sometimes followed by a bsod saying "video scheduler internal error", I've installed new drivers on the card multiple tines, preformed a ram check, disk check, and updated bios. The card I had installed was a red devil rx 570 brand new off of amazon. I had a 6870 lying around and tried that. The 6870 has no problems and never blue screens. Would this mean a need to get a replacement from power color? My psu is 600w, more than enough to handle the rx 570. I have a 6-pin to 8-pin connector on the rx570 but not the 6870, would this be the issue? Could my motherboard not be accepting the newer gpu. I think this is the problem as I bought a Chinese x79 motherboard off of amazon. But I really have no clue.
  21. I have booted in safe mode and experienced no artifacts. With no drivers I also experience no artifacts. This would mean its a driver problem, right?
  22. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers on my new pc five times for the gpu. On some games I play for hours with no artifacts, will others I get them almost immediately, any help would be appreciated, here’s a picture of the type of artifact. My gpu is a new rx 570 from powercolor.
  23. That's interesting, I know it wasn't that important but thanks for answering my question.
  24. So lets say a game that could use large multicore processers, would also be able to utilize the dual cpus?
  25. I'm not planning on getting a dual socket motherboard and using it in the near future. But I was wondering if two lesser cpus could measure up to one better one? I know it will get better workstation performance, but that doesn't always mean better gaming. I guess what I'm asking is can games even utilize to cpus or will they just use one by default?
