  1. Just weighed it, it's 400 grams. Does anyone else have a 10,000 mAh battery bank to weigh for comparison? When I said it was heavy I didn't mean lead-acid heavy, just surprisingly heavy for it's small size.
  2. So what I'm hearing is that this isn't a graphene battery, but a Lithium Ion battery with some graphene parts? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W6JW72V/ It looks like there are several rebrands of two units, a 10,000 mAh and a 20,000 mAh.
  3. So I got one of the Graphene Battery banks that popped up recently, and wow is it heavy. Does anyone have any numbers for Lithium ion vs Graphene energy density vs ACTUAL density?
  4. Hi forum, I'm having trouble connecting the front USB C header on my O11 Dynamic. I was able to get a usbc header card, but the cable won't reach, and I haven't been able to find an extender cable. Lian Li sells this but it's the stock one that's too short http://www.lian-li.com/product/pw-ic01nh45/ I've found type e to type c cables on amazon that are also too short https://www.amazon.com/Front-Header-XQIN-Female-Extension/dp/B07QLG3Y4Z/
  5. I just got my 2920X and mobo for 75% off thinking I could get a zen 2 for cheap next year, now this comes out. I'm a sad panda. No new Zen2 Threadripper for X399. FYI @1usmus makes the Ryzen RAM Calculator. https://twitter.com/1usmus/status/1177267648117321730?s=20 https://twitter.com/1usmus/status/1177267648117321730?s=20
  6. The beige sandwich doesn't look good. But it's the best performer.
  7. If you want to try to get a warranty replacement, they do require your receipt. https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033067832-Corsair-Warranty#h_953b2eb8-e22c-459c-b2f4-995de5bee71c
  8. You can go Aluminum, but then you have to make sure to not mix copper and aluminum parts. LTT did a video about EK's aluminum line:
  9. Can you exchange the AIO? Or do you have amazon prime? It's only $10 https://smile.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Gravity-Intel-Cooler-CLP0556-D/dp/B00O4UIZ86/
  10. Put the air cooler back on and see if it helps. Your pump may be going. And compare the tdie value from hardware info. You may have to make sure the Corsair service is stopped to get hwinfo to start.
  11. You could have a dummy res with one of those self contained ecosystems, that might look nice. https://www.selfsustainingecosystem.com/ EK has a .8L res that would be perfect. https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-res-x4-250-r2 You could put your real res in your 5.25 bay. https://www.newegg.com/p/0VE-00BN-000N9?item=9SIA8EF9B92106
  12. After the RGreatB War, we will be forces to have RGB on every individually sold device.
  13. So it didn't help your thermals? Interesting, if a bit discouraging.
  14. Also, the datasheet says it works best under 600 kPa of pressure. How much pressure does a heatsink apply?
  15. HI team, I just picked up a Threadripper and X399 for a steal last weekend, and I'm waiting for the monoblock to get here from EK before I get it all setup. I've watched about a million videos about threadripper thermal paste application, and I've also seen the rumors about the X3900 hotspot issues and making sure your heatpipes are aligned. This makes me think that the threadripper would also have hotspots that would need to be managed correctly. I'm also a fan of the IC Graphite pads, since I don't get that lingering doubt of "did I use enough paste" that only a 12 pack will get rid of. Unfortunately, I'm newly broke (I bought a threadripper and ek monoblock) and can't afford a 12 pack anymore. In the video review they discuss for a second how the pad is 10 times more conductive sideways than through. That suggests that it would be great a spreading out hotspots in hotspot prone chips. Has anyone done any testing of the anti-hotspot properties of the graphite? Are there any obvious reasons why this is stupid and I'm stupid and I should delete my browser? I've attached the material datasheet that shows the conductivity: " Thermal conductivity : X-Y direction 400W/m∙K, Z direction (28W/m∙K) " AYA0000C50-1129407.pdf
