  1. If you have access to windows: First we need to find out what brand of motherboard that Zotac PC has. Open CMD and type in: wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer This will return the manufacturer and the exact model, then we can figure out how to enable secure boot.
  2. If 400 pounds equal to 500 dollars, then I'd say it's ok but there's definetly better if you're willing to go in the used gpu market. I've seen countless 3080s at 500 dollars on ebay, not used for mining and just used for a year. So if you dont mind a used GPU, they're definetly a better value but if you strictly want a new one i guess the 3070 ti is an okay deal.
  3. If reinstalling the drivers doesn't work, try reseating the gpu in the same slot as before and if that doesn't work too then use another pcie slot on your motherboard and make sure the power connectors are correctly plugged in. If the problem persists i would honestly just RMA the gpu if it's under warranty, which is probably is, because if you still get the out of memory problem after all these fixes it's probably a factory defect.
  4. Have you plugged the hdmi/displayport cable into the gpu instead of the mobo? I know, dumb question, but we have to be sure. Anyways, you can try doing a clean install of the drivers, DDUing them and them reinstalling, reseating the gpu or a clean windows install. COULD be insufficient power since the 4090, especially an MSI liquid cooled variant, is extremely power hungry. Make sure you have a beast of a PSU as well, talking about 1200W here.
  5. The TUF series motherboards have pretty buggy BIOSes so it's not unusual to see they behave strangely. That said, until you notice the PC isn't posting I'd say to not worry about it. If you're really bugged by the VGA light, you could try entering the BIOS and setting PCIe slot gen from "Auto" to the gen your gpu supports, in this case gen 4, and see if the problem persists.
  6. I took a peek at it and looks great, just be sure that 850W can hold all that, personally i would go with a 1000W. Also, if you intend to use the headphones for pc use only, I'd suggest buying a pair of high-end studio headphones in the same money range since they generally sound better (beware they don't come with microphones, if you need one just keep the sony ones). Make sure the components fit inside the case and MOST IMPORTANTLY check if you motherboard model has good reputation, Asus lately has been on a down spiral of bad reputation with its beta BIOSes and ignoring the customer. I have an Asus TUF motherboard myself and had to change some things in the bios to get the computer to turn on reliably and not just get it stuck on the DRAM led, though I'm on AM5 platform so maybe you won't have all these problems.
  7. More PCIe slots for what exactly? Unless you need an adapter of some kind or more ports I think one PCIe slot is all you need (mATX mobos all have just one pcie slot anyway, so unless you'll switch to ATX you're stuck with one) Rest of the build honestly looks fine, great for gaming alright. Just warning you: AM5 is still a relatively new platform and many users (me included) report some minor issues with ram/instability, but nothing some bios tweaks can't fix. If I'd have to suggest a change in your build i would go with a 7600X over a 7600 if you have the extra money since the X variant has significant higher boost and base clocks that would benefit cpu-heavy games like CS:GO (and Valve games in general) Good luck on your build!
  8. @filpo Big update: before trying to unseat and reseat the cpu, I tried tinkering around the Bios and doing some research about people with the same problem as me: Apparently, all I needed was to go in the PCIE slot settings and change the GPU slot Gen from AUTO to GEN 4 and that fixed the problem (for now) for me. Now, even with EXPO I enabled, I'm able to boot into Windows. I haven't yet encountered the solid DRAM led anymore. I hope to help people with the same problem as me who come across this thread.
  9. Wait, don't I need to change thermal paste everytime i unscrew the cooler? I heard it breaks tension when you separate the two and need to replace it.
  10. Alright, I'll order some more thermal paste and as soon as it arrives I'll try reseating it. Thnak you. Do you think I can revive this thread 2 days later to update the situation?
  11. I updated the bios as soon as i built my pc, didn't want to take any risks as i knew Asus boards had that problem. You think a cpu reseat might work?
  12. Each time i boot my pc it sometimes won't post: today the CPU led lit up 2 times, then the DRAM (even tough i JUST installed amd expo certified ram...) and another time boot. I don't know what's causing all this. Please help it's driving me clinically insane. Specs: ASUS TUF X670E Corsair Vengeance 32GB 6000Mhz EXPO RTX 2070 Cooler Master Masterwatt 750
  13. If its on the qvl list of my Mobo i can consider it along the G skill trident neo rgb
  14. mainly because its a brand i know well and rgb software integration since i have a corsair aio and another 4x corsair fans in my case. (also the looks) I know, sounds really dumb, because it is.
  15. I had to RMA my ram since my pc would post less than half the Times, already tried adjusting the timings but to no avail, it still acted up. It was an xmp so probably because of that. Now, I've read online the X670e tuf can be pretty picky with ram so I was wondering if i could be able to get a (expo) ram kit not on the qvl list and make it work, or if i should play it safe and get a qvl kit that isnt really of my liking. I just want to make sure i have no options if I have to get the qvl one,its not bad but I just really like a corsair one I've been looking at.
  16. Update: it did change with docp, don't know why it didnt on the first try. Anyways the timings in the SPD section were already inserted and I think it's the same as before, might have to return the ram and get a qvl certified and expo kit just to be absolutely safe.
  17. Thats weird, using the DOCP 2 profile (with all the subtimings) it doesnt change that value
  18. Got it. Its set on auto now and currently on 1.104 V. Im afraid adding .3 V might be a bit too much, but I'll see if it posts more often. Is there a chance it might damage something? I'm sorry for asking so many questions but I never feel comfortable adjusting unknown things to me in the bios.
  19. I cant seem to find the "VDDIO_MEM", the closest one i could find is "VDDIO/MC Voltage". Where can find the VDDIO_MEM voltage?
  20. I'm already running a DOCP with lowered frequency (6000 instead of 6400), but i haven't touched the voltage yet. What should I set it to?
  21. It looked like this the first time i opened CPU-Z, then after i closed and opened it again it shows as the last image i sent. Very weird. So, i should try inputting these settings in the bios?
  22. Wouldn't the timings listed on cpuz or the ram box already be the ones I'm currently using(the ones causing boot instability),since i just enabled docp(and set frequency to 6000 insted of 6400)?
