  1. I would upgrade other components of your system first, before the GPU, as the CPU is probably the bottleneck. Also, playing those games at 1600x900 - 75Hz (assuming the monitor is that resolution) then that would also be a limiting factor. If you upgraded the CPU, you would need to upgrade your motherboard and RAM too - and your PSU depending on what the wattage is of your current one? This is what I would recommend with the information I have. I am giving two options (Intel & AMD) incase you have a preference. - your country would be helpful to check prices. AMD: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PnV3Dx CPU: Ryzen 3 3300X - I would have picked the 3600, but is overpriced in the US, but at a decent price in the UK, so get it if it is under $200. Even the 3300X will definitely eliminate any bottleneck with your 1050ti and should be decent for a new one too. Mobo: AsRock B550M Pro4 - This is a mATX mobo, so if you have an ATX case, consider something like the MSI B550 A-Pro. Anyway, the listed motherboard has all the features you need and supports the 3300X or 3600 out of the box. RAM: T-Force Vulcan 16GB DDR4 3200MHz - 16GB RAM is great (but you probably have DDR3 rn with that CPU so this will be a good step up. Why this certain kit? Well it is just the cheapest one with those specs. Intel: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/G2p4Wb CPU: i5 10400F - this is a solid 6 core processor, and for not more than the 3300X, has 2 extra cores and will probably perform better in those games you listed. Mobo: AsRock B460M Steel Legend - good motherboard with all features you need and supports your CPU. RAM: Same RAM as AMD one. I would recommend the intel one for now, until the 3600 becomes a reasonable price... unless you live in the UK where it is £170.
  2. Looks fairly good, however if you are planning to use the stock air cooler with this PC, the H510 may not be the best option as the airflow is limited. I would also use an ATX board as a microATX board will look weird in an ATX case. One more thing, if you plan to use a 30 series card, I would go with a 750w psu as those cards can pull a lot of power. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Pfmp68
  3. Hi, trying to help my dad get onto this website: www.milkandmore.co.uk It comes up with this error (photo below) I have tried everything: Disabling antivirus, updating the pc, different browsers: chrome, edge, firefox. Clearing cache, clearing cookies etc. Still no luck getting onto the website. Any help would be appreciated!

  5. I would recommend something like this. The upgraded CPU will benefit your 3d modelling. Also, the 360mm AIO is unnecessary for this CPU. So i would go with an air cooler like the dark rock 4 or if you are set on a water cooler, then a 240mm one will be plenty. 6. Does that include the space bar? Also, One more question. Because the keycaps will be adding a lot of money to the cost of the keyboard, would buying the keyboard used be a worthy option?? Or is that not recommended.
  7. Ok, i might give them a go and see what they are like. I can always send them back. Which keys are not standard on the g pro keyboard?
  8. Did they feel very different to other PBT keycaps? They have good reviews but some of them say that they snapped or were really hard to put on
  9. What about these, Razer PBT Keycap Upgrade Set - Classic Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B081K5DPWY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_C0XDGEXCH0EZZVRDAB47 It seems like they come with all keys for iso or ansi
  10. Yes they are cherry clones. Why is it that there are so few keycaps for them?
  11. I have recently got a new keyboard (Logitech G Pro) with GX blue switches. I would like to upgrade the keycaps to some Black Double Shot PBT keycaps. These would need to be the ISO layout. Has anyone got any suggestions? Thanks

  13. So, after a couple of years, I have finally decided to upgrade my cheap £30 mechanical keyboard. The logitech G915 TKL. After spending way too much money on it, I was not happy with it. The keycaps were ABS, not PBT which you would expect at that pricepoint, and the tactile switches felt mushy and hard to press. I was also concerned that I cant change the keycaps. Looks like i will probably stick to clicky switches in the future (as I am used to my outemu blues). Has anyone got any recommendations for a TKL mechanical keyboard, preferably with PBT keycaps and RGB. It would be nice if they required less force than outemu blues to push down. Thanks for any help! It is really appreciated.

  15. If you could do with this now, then you could always use an i5 10400 or 10500 with integrated graphics for now, and then add a graphics card when prices return to normal
  16. I don't think OP needs a quadro??! They are meant for more extreme cases in powerful workstations for professional CAD/CGI. Something like a 1050ti is more than enough! The 1050ti has the NVenc encoder, which will be great for teams and streaming ppt/youtube, and 1x HDMI, 1x DVI and 1x DP, so OP can run 2 monitors (well technically 3 but DVI is bad)
  17. First of all, if you do not already have multiple monitors, I would 100% recommend it. It will make teaching online so much easier. For the PC, you don't need anything overkill. I use 16GB RAM and with Teams open, chrome, outlook, word, discord etc. at the same time, just over half of that is being used up. Here is the PC I would recommend. This has a graphics card too, which is not super powerful but more than enough for streaming on teams, and running the meetings. It will be much better than any integrated graphics. I hope I could help!
  18. Hi, I was wondering recommendations for a case for the iPhone 12. I was looking at these two: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-Silicone-Case-MagSafe-iPhone/dp/B08L5NS72V/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=apple+MagSafe+case+for+iPhone+12&qid=1611605778&quartzVehicle=93-1814&replacementKeywords=apple+magsafe+case+for+iphone&sr=8-6 https://uk.mous.co/products/lim-3-protective-iphone-12-case?variant=31880706687033 I want something protective enough to survive drops and dents/scratched but also don't want it to be thick. I am aware the Mous one is quite thick as I have previously had one for my iPhone 7. Was wondering your guys opinions on this and if you recommend other ones? I don't drop my phone much Thanks

About the Motherboard, you can either go with this, or a slightly better quality MATX one, which will look a bit wierd in an ATX case like the ASRock B550M Pro4. Alternatively, you could go over your budget a bit and get an MSI b550 A pro For the peripherals, the keyboard and mouse listed are both great budget ones.
  20. Welcome to the Forum. It is best to quote people otherwise they won't see your reply. From what I know, after the BIOS has finished updating, it should reboot automatically. After that, just power off the system and put in your new CPU and components. Hope I helped!
