  3. Hello, this pc has a huge story but I will try to condense it. If you feel like there is missing information please be sure to ask and I'll respond or add it here if possible. This is for a pc that is old (uses ddr2) and my mom uses it to watch movies on the TV in the living room. One day she used it, powered it off, and then the next day she wanted to watch a movie with my brother so she tried to power on and nothing happened. The pc from that day wasnt powering on. Some time passed and we ended up among other things, re-applying thermal paste, and re-seating the cpu. When we did that the pc powered on again. But that's when the current problem occured. No image on the screen. We had a second gpu in hand, different hdmi and vga cables, different screens. We tried all of those. Nothing. Still no image. We figured something is broken. We get a cpu and mb used from a dude that said they havent been used in a while but tested them recently and they worked fine. We put those on. Still same issue. We then figure out we got another psu and another stick of ram that back in the day we just removed and upgraded [aka should still work]. We get all of those and make all sorts of different system combinations, with old and new parts and everything. We even confirmed the "new" psu worked on my brothers pc which he made like a couple years ago. We know the cables work and the TVs / screens work fine. But we still get no image. We tried using the mb, cpu and ram to just power up the pc and see if we can get anything to happen. Still nothing. Sometimes the pc would power up, then restart on its own and then stay on for a bit. Sometimes the pc wouldnt respond to my power off button so id have to unplug it. That seemed to happen when we didnt have all of the components in. When we added any gpu I think that problem seemed to have stopped. Also we stopped getting that restart. So lastly we had 2 random builds we made out of all those components, and both give us the same result. No image. I don't really understand what could be wrong, and I don't really have any more ideas for things to try so I figured I'd post here. Let me know! Sorry if this was confusing. I hope I included enough things. Edit: I think I also tried to boot without battery and re-seated battery in both mb at some point too. forgot to mention that. Also we dont hear any beeps when the pc turns on but im not confident that the speaker cable works so idk if that means anything.
  4. oh, this looks interesting. r u just talking? I will try this thanks!
  5. Honestly i laughed, cause of how much I do all the wrong things lmao. I'll try. Thank you for the help!
  6. Yeah I'd say this is it too, i dont rly have any environmental factors that I know of affecting it.
  7. I run out of energy so fast when I have to speak loud and clear. Like I just die if you notice me. Idk.. its weird
  8. yeah. there is compressors and noise gates and shit in the programs u use to stream as well. its just rly complicated for my brain for some reason. i havent tried those kind of programs so i might give it a try one day when im feeling brave ? i mumble a lot so mic settings get complicated ?
  9. i use my audio for streaming but its kinda the same thing i guess. idk when ill stream again its gonna be sometime soon but let me tell you the settings for the audio in programs like obs / slobs etc make me wanna quit life :')
  10. She is pretty popular / rich I definitely don't otherwise I guess I would've. But I wouldn't spend money on something that gives me a different result than what I want either since what I have now works just fine. So I guess I'll see in the future what I do
  11. what about if i want something for far away? I saw the other mic the electro voice one being used from a girl and not a dude since i cant relate to dudes voices / setups, and she was using it how i wanna use it, aka far from me but still have good sound and not much background noise / keyboard mouse noise etc. i dont wanna have the mic in my face. its so uncomfortable and annoying. like i can get good sound with the one i have now that way but thats not what i want. keep in mind this isnt for use with any music related things. not sure if that was obvious [i guess it probably is but still wanted to say it :D] she also has this: Universal Audio LA-610 Mk II Classic Tube Recording Channel and this: Audient iD4 USB 2-in/2-out High Performance Audio Interface
  12. michael jackson recorded thriller on Shure SM7B.... wtf? i guess thats why its so popular after all XD
  13. btw the mic i posted is compared with either a very similar to what u showed or the exact one. lol what are the odds electro voice re20 vs shure sm7b
