I'm sorry for reviving such an old conversation topic.
Myself, I'm happy with biostar.
Because my system built by me in 2006 with a biostar tforce 6100 still works.
Started life as a sempron 3200+ 1gb ram
Currently have a athlon x2 with 4gb ram, a ssd and a gt730. Runs Windows 10 nicely.
It does have their latest bios update from 2008.
I'll try to see if it can handle more than 4gb ram. When it was made, each single dimm maximum was 1gb.but since its supporting 2x2gb sticks, will try.
Now for the needed update, I was thinking about the recent msi b450 boards, or biostar with same chipset.
At least I know in durability this weird brand is reliable.
