  1. thanks for the advice, i tried using the cable my other pc is using and it appears that it is now at 1gbit speed. It appears some of my cat5e cable are faulty. thanks again
  2. its a modem router provided by my isp. I don't see any option that indicates that my router has "green mode"
  3. I recently bought a new pc with gigabit Ethernet (my old pc doesn't support gigabit). And my router is rated for gigabit too. But i just cant seems to get my connection to gigabit Ethernet , it is constantly at 100mbps. I have tried: -changing between multiple cable cable support (i have cat5e) -updating my lan driver. -reinstall windows im new to these things. any help fixing it?
  4. Recently I bought a laptop for normal study usage. its a Lenovo ideapad IdeaPad S340-15api. I wanted to use vegas pro 14 for video editing. But whenever I started the program, my laptop screen will go black. I had similar experience when using photoshop. The same goes to playing some video games. Some game will crash and some won't. I suspect its due to overheating, but the overheating would make a click sound followed by a black screen. is my laptop unable to handle the load or is the power supply limiting it? Here is the full spec of my laptop: Laptop Model: 81NC00B5MJ OS: Windows 10 64-bit CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 3500u GPU : Integrated AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics Memory : 4GB soldered + 4GB DDR4-2400 Storage: 1 TB HDD, 128GB NVMe SSD BIOS Version : AMCN24WW(V1.07) AC Adapter: 65W power adapter
  5. So i was planning to upgrade my cpu, I did some research and found Intel i5-9400f processor, it has 6 core and no hyper threading it is very cheap for a 9th gen processor, so that made me wonder what made it so cheap and will it run better than processor with quad core hyperthreading.
