  1. Again... I don't need any Pics or Graphs explaining the differences between the different CPUs and PCIe Types. This was only supposed to be for people who DON'T know the difference but it is good to have them for those people. This Thread only needed a Yes or No Answer.
  2. I know that putting in a CPU that already has PCIe 4.0 is the "Preferred" thing to do. This was just a question and NOT a Real World Scenario. I know EXACTLY what I am doing. I posted this for people who might not know the differences between the two.
  3. No, I was just using this as an example question. I would never pair a CPU that is Locked w/ PCIe 3.0 and use PCIe 4.0 Parts. Seems sad that just because the CPU is limited that the other should be too, like they somehow could not have found a way around this. Also anyone else seeing this might get some knowledge out of it.
  4. Hello... I have wondered for years now that if I or someone else got a PC like this: Example PC Will the CPU which is locked on PCIe 3.0 take away from other Parts that are PCIe 4.0 like the Motherboard, M.2, and GPU? If the Motherboard has PCIe 4.0 Capability like being able to use a Gen4 M.2 and PCIe 4.0 GPU will it be Locked to PCIe 3.0 because of the CPU???
  5. Hello... I would go with this Build. I was able to get you 32GB of RAM, a better PSU, Faster M.2 Drive, and a Case that is the same Color as the rest of the Parts. Please let me know what you think. I have been building PCs for over 30 years so if you have any questions please ask. 7. Hello... I was able to switch some things around on your list and now you have a Core i7 and a RTX 4060 Ti 16GB!!! I also was able to upgrade your Storage and PSU. Building in a ITX just really makes everything difficult and much more expensive. I went with Micro-ATX. It's still pretty small and just a little bigger than the Fractal Terra Case. I fixed your RAM Speed too. All Stable and Fast RAM for Intel Socket 1700 and AMD AM5 should be 6000Mhz CL30, no more no less. The higher the CL the Slower the RAM is. I also save you a bit of money too. But all this being said please have a look and let me know what you think. I have been building PCs for over 30 years so if you have any questions please ask. 9. Hello... I have the "Perfect" Build for you. I have included the Best CPU for Gaming the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and the New AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE 16GB GPU. This will allow you to Play any Game you want in any Resolution you want. I also added 64GB of RAM because you said that you needed extra. I threw in some extra Fans too and a Fan Hub because the Case only had 2 and now you will get the Max Benefit from the Case. Just add the 3x120mm Fans on the Bottom of the Case and the 2x140mm on the Top of the Case. I added some Keyboards for you to look at too. Please have a look and let me know what you think. 11. Hello... I made you a Build List and this PC will pretty much be the best you can get for your Budget. Inside will be a Ryzen 7 5700X3D and a RX 7800 XT 16GB GPU. It also has 32GB of RAM and the whole PC has no RGB, this is what I call a "Blackout" PC. 2TB M.2 Storage and a Fan Pack. The Case only comes with 1 Fan so I added 3 more for you to put in the Front of the Case, they Daisy-Chain together so it only takes up 1 Fan Port on the Motherboard. I am happy to answer any questions you might have. Please let me know what you think. I have been building PCs for over 30 years so if you have any questions please ask. 12. Hello... I have a Build List for you to see. Please have a look and let me know what you think. I based it on a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and a RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB. I know you said that you wanted a RTX 4080 but the 4070 Ti Super still has 16GB of VRAM at a cheaper cost and will do 4K. I did this build in case you wanted a RTX GPU. Below this this is an all AMD PC that will be a bit cheaper but has more VRAM on the GPU and the whole PC will be Faster too. 13. Hello... I looked over your List from MicroCenter and I was able to make some improvements that will enhance your Gaming Performance. First Get this Bundle: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D Build Bundle It includes a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Asus B550 TUF ATX Motherboard, and 2x8GB 16GB 3200Mhz CL16 RAM Kit. The Ryzen 7 700X might be Faster and Newer but the 5800X3D has the 3D V-Cache you want for Gaming. The difference between the 2 CPUs are less than 8% and the 5800X3D Bundle is $50 less. I would rather have the extra V-Cache for Games than a slightly higher Clock Speed. Plus if you went with the 7700X Bundle then you could not also get the RX 7900XT 20GB GPU, you would probably have to settle for a RX 7800XT 16GB GPU that will do 1440p but not as well as the 7900XT. More VRAM = Better Performance. Grab another RAM Kit of the same one and you will have 32GB of RAM. This Bundle will allow you to get the Bundle and Save Deal for the CPU, Motherboard, & RAM so just Subtract the Bundle Price from the New List below. It also has a 2TB WD Black M.2, AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT 20GB GPU, DeepCool AK620 Digital CPU Cooler, Thermal Grizzly Thermal Paste, and a Super Flower 850w Gold Power Supply. Super Flower is a really good Brand just not common here in the USA. It is A-Tier so there won't be any issues. I threw in 2 Extra Fans too so that you can have Exhaust on the Top of the PC. All the Fans are from the Case Brand so they will all work with each other. Just remember to get 1 extra RAM Kit as the Bundle only comes with 16GB. 15. Hello... If you make some better choices then you can get some better Parts for your Money. I was able to change some things around so that you send a little less in some areas so that you can improve on the most important Part, the GPU. I was able to take you from a 4070 Ti Super 16GB to a 4090 24GB. This will vastly improve your Content Creations like your Photo & Video Editing. I also took the CPU from the i9 you had down to an i7 because an i9 is not something you want for Gaming. The i7 is the perfect balance between Gaming and Creation while not "Overspending" for something that you will never get full use out of. I also fixed the issue with the RAM Speed that you had. I tried to eliminate all RGB from the Build but if you don't like the RGB on the Motherboard then you can always turn it off with Software. Please have a look and let me know what you think.
