  1. I only have one GPU: a GTX 1080 But the games I want to play are very low demand: League of Legends and World of Warcraft
  2. I found "Moonlight" for nvidia. What sort of virtualization are you talking about? I don't know that much about virtualization Would I use something like a virtual machine, or is it still something else?
  3. Hi guys I have a very good desktop computer but I have a laptop with a broken gpu, and a laptop with just internal gpu, both kinda suck at gaming. I was wondering if there's any way where I could use the laptop as a screen and input device (keyboard and mouse) and use the hardware of my desktop to game on it, while a 2nd person is also gaming on that desktop. I was thinking about something like teamviewer, but that wouldn't work since we both need to have different screens and input devices regards Stef
  4. I'm gaming on 2560-1080 ultrawide Would this increase performance or just a suggestion to make the game look better?
  5. Hey guys I have a i5-4670k OC to 4.4ghz and a Gtx 1070 OC to 2Ghz I have recently started playing Watch Dogs 2 and noticed that my CPU usage is 100% almost all the time while my GPU only comes in the 80's. The game is very playable and it's not a big deal, but I would need some advice for the coming 2-3 years since I assume this will only get worse and will become a problem in future titles. I checked my CPU usage in some older titles and was surprised by how much CPU those titles are using. Need for speed Rivals locked at 60Fps takes my CPU to 80-90% while my GPU sits comfortably at 50%. From normal reviews and general impressions I thought a i5-4670K was supposed to not be a bottleneck for quite some time but I fear it is. So here's my question: - Do you think this is normal with a 4.4ghz i5-4670k or am I unlucky with mine in some way? - Viable upgrade options: getting a better chip for the lga1150 Socket which I'm using now, or upgrade the board and CPU to a newer gen, taking into account I'll have to upgrade my Ram too which is expensive - Wait another year or so and just get a new rig? - Do you think going for a manual overclock and getting a bit more out of my CPU would help? ( I've never done a manual overclock) Full rig details: - MoBo: Gigabyte G1. Sniper M.5 LGA1150 - CPU: Intel i5-4670K OC - 4.4Ghz - Graphics: EVGA Gtx 1070 SC - Ram: 34Gb Corsair Vengeance @ 1833Mhz - Storage: 2 Samsung 540 Pro in Raid 0, 3TB WD Hard drive - Power Supply: Corsair HX650 gold - CPU Cooler: H100i Thanks for the advice Stef
  6. Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has a guide to prepare a windows 10 image for enterprise usage, or some tips on how to do it better. What I have available: - Active Directory setup on a local domain. - SCCM12 is available - Acronis software - Dell Latitude E5470 and E7270 with Windows 10 pro licenses What I need help with: Preparing the windows 10 image: Do I need to put certain settings in there to prepare it for active directory? How do I remove all the bloatware from installing when I image a new computer? Is there a list somewhere where I can find all the bloatware and how to uninstall the package installers? Are there any registry entries that I should change? Is there a better/easier way to do this? Any good guides are very welcome Thank you!
  7. Hey there, I'm trying to find an update on everything dx 12. Direct X 12 to my knowledge was released alongside windows 10, which has been released on the 29th of July. The latest games I've been playing are Rise of the Tomb Raider and Tom Clancy's The Devision Beta. Now these games were released well over 6 months after the release of windows 10, so I would assume they are running direct x 12, but performance wise, I'm not really impressed? Also some video's on youtube suggest that direct x 12 has yet to be released, so what's up with that? I'm also curious about 2 things: 1) If Dx 12 is already released, how would I go about setting up a multi GPU setup using my dedicated GTX 770, and my integrated HD4600? 2) How would I go about setting up my existing 770 with a new yet to be decided gpu?
  8. Hey Luke. I use Adblock to block annoying ads mostly. ( Like the Russian Babes looking for man or something ads). I put the adblock on permanent pauze on Linustechtips. It would be cool if you added a page that shows your youtube video's on the Linustechtips site. That way my adblock pauze would extend to your youtube video's. I could pauze it everytime i watch a youtube video of you guys on youtube, but let's be honest me and probably everyone else is way to lazy to do that.
  9. I'm no expert, but is it possible to check if the same monitor does the same thing with a different computer? Seeing when you auto-adjust it's fixed it seems like the monitor is the problem.
  10. Hi. I have a Razer Taipan. I'm having the problem that every time windows cold boots it takes some time for it to start working. It works immediatly in the Bios, when i Replug it it works perfectly. On a reboot when it worked before the reboot, it works fine. So I've been looking crazy for a fix for this issue, I changed the power management in device manage to never allow windows to set usb ports to sleep. That didn't help. So the only solution for now is replugging it every boot. Which isn't that bad but i have to reach around my computer everytime which is kind off annoying. The solution: Unplug and replug it using software. Problem is: I don't know how, lol. So i have an apple keyboard which has a bunch of f keys that don't do anything. So can someone help me? I want to assign one f key to disable the mouse, and one to enable it. I would greatly appreciate it. 11. I enjoy watching all of your video's, but the gaming video's are really interesting for me. I did not know trine 2 and it seems like a really cool game to play, so thanks Luke!
