  1. Can find a lot of introspection done on the content and business, and very little on the HR issues. Just saying that anyone is free to come talk to me is the most unprofessional HR argument ever come across. Building a culture and training and evaluating managers on people management is the solution, not outsourcing or continuing with a part owner as HR head. The issues raised by the female ex-employee were indicative of the same lackadaisical attitude to workplace culture. You talk a lot about workplace fun activities and benefits, but very little about the redressal mechanisms. Regular POSH trainings, with a completely de-linked from ownership/CEO grievance mechanism is a cornerstone for any workplace today. Despite getting a CEO, Linus, you still need to learn to delegate effectively, do delegate the HR head role as well. Yvonne is indispensable and could continue to contribute in planning and strategy. - A well wisher
  2. HUGE steal. The retailer(Authorised Distributor) shut down the scheme the very next night. I was hoping for a console like slim build. The A4 h20 from lian li looks cool. Will I be able to put the Rad on top and a low profile heatsink on the CPU? Another reason why I would prefer a lower tdp 12400 or 5600
  3. Budget (including currency): 100000 Indian Rupees (Excluding GPU) Country: India Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 4K TV gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I recently stumbled into a pot of good luck with a ASUS ROG STRIX LC RX 6900 XT GAMING TOP purchase from an authorized dealer, new, at 59000 Rupees (3070 - 6700XT rates here in India). Initial plan was to flip it, but am not in need of immediate cash, so the GPU can probably provide more value gaming for me. Aim is to only game on a 4K high end TV, to replace an ageing Xbox Series S console. Open to all ideas, flexible at this point. Top of my mind is Lian Li Q58X4 or the A4 H20. Want to minimize the spend on CPU, memory and motherboard, since it will be a mostly pure gaming PC. Will be nice if it's in black and console like stealthy.
  4. That's what I thought.. Will probably do that. It was the original plan, but wanted to check once with the community Thank you guys!
  5. My PC is a i9 9900k on Z390 Aorus Master, with Zotac 3080 Trinity OC. PSU is RM1000X. Last night, I managed to do something I've never done before and snagged a place in a flash sale. Managed to bag a Asus ROG Strix Liquid Cooled Radeon RX 6900 XT, at RX 6700 XT / 3070 prices (50 % off retail). From an authorized retailer, with free upcoming titles - forspoken, saints row and sniper elite 5. And a 'back to school' backpack. I need the 3080 for resolve and ML, so that stays in my system. Frankenstein's query - Will applications (resolve/blender, not games) be able to use rtx 3080 and rx 6900xt (Cuda and OpenCL at same time in Resolve) simultaneously? Will I be able to boot with both cards in the first place (display output on RTX) Tried googling with little success. Then remembered LTT answers the really crazy qns.
  6. Tried running stress tests with reduced power limits. The buzzing starts at 120W power draw and system crashes around 140W-150W. Definitely nicked something I think. Any idea what it could be?
  7. Changed the thermal pads - didn't help. Anyone? Help please?
  8. VDDC is at 0.64V vs 0.6V at normal idle earlier. Before the driver reinstall, it was 0.8V!! I was using MSI Afterburner when I did the G12 mod. I disconnected both the fans and the small RGB logo while running it on the G-12. That and the change in voltage post driver reinstall gets me thinking whether something in the GPU BIOS got screwed, messing with the Voltage controller mechanism. Is that even possible? Another thing to note is that the GPU temps don't hit 38-40degrees straight at boot. It heats up over ten minutes, and I can literally feel the backplate exactly above the VRM heating up first, and then radiating towards everywhere else slowly, raising the temperature. Will VRM cooling inefficiency do that? Mess with power/voltage delivery? Or have I nicked something on the board?
  9. But will the power consumption be higher as well with inefficient cooling?
  10. I cleaned and repasted with Nh-1. But I'm using the older thermal pads as of now. The newer thermal pads will arrive today, will check with them as well
  11. If I had nicked something on the board during teardown, can something like this happen?
  12. Where does the control for the GPU VRM reside at? Can MOBO influence that?
