  1. This is why you never forget anything in electronics class. But to be for sure that looks very similar to a resistor. It’s a possibility that you have a dead card now. Who knows unless you pull-up the GPU map of all the components.
  2. I am for sure waiting for the iPhone 12, and if they screw that up even more than the iPhone 11, then I am staying with Samsung or Google.
  3. The trend back in 2017 and 2018 was notches at the front of the phone, now the new trend in 2019 is square rear cameras. Atleast the notch is starting to go extinct. I was thinking of buying the iPhone 11 so I could move over from Android to Apple, but I might have to wait for the iPhone 12 or whatever comes out next.
  4. Try to not keep V-Sync on. That will limit your FPS and your moniters refresh rate.
  5. Apple will mess up the iPhone 11 by making the rear-facing cameras in a square.
  6. I have no clue. Your talking to the guy with a 10 year old PC that’s BIOS is from 2009. Just giving ideas on what to do.
  7. Maybe check in your BIOS and see if there is some sort of setting that is preventing you to go higher than 120?
  8. I think this is a really good upgrade from your current build.
  9. Buy a different HDMI cable, or use the NVIDIA or Windows display settings to set your refresh rate to 144.
  10. I applied new thermal paste. While it side crease the heat and performance went up a little, still doesn’t fix this FPS problem yet.
  11. Yeah I was expecting a hard no for the PSU due to it being over 10 years of operation and is bound to make mistakes and die sooner or later. I just need it to survive for the next 5 and a half months. Any power supply recommendations would be nice. The reason I didn’t chose the B450 mobs and 16GB of RAM is because there isn’t a BIOS update out yet for those CPUs and MOBO, and I only really need 8 because all I really do is game and games don’t need a lot of RAM really.
  12. Yeah I might try a 2000 series Ryzen 5 chip but I really want the new 3000 series one first.
  13. I wasnt to build a new $1200 dollar canadian PC and was wondering if I could use my old PC's PSU. The PC in question is the Dell Studio XPS 435t/9000 and the PSU is 475 watts and the build I want leading up to christmas is this one PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor $258.25 @ shopRBC Motherboard Gigabyte X570 GAMING X ATX AM4 Motherboard $224.99 @ Newegg Canada Memory Team T-Force Delta RGB 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory $63.99 @ Newegg Canada Storage ADATA XPG GAMMIX S5 256 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive $55.99 @ Amazon Canada Storage Seagate BarraCuda Compute 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $78.39 @ Vuugo Video Card Zotac GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB Video Card $574.99 @ Amazon Canada Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $1256.60 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-07-23 09:06 EDT-0400 I don't know if I should change the PSU for a newer one for the decreased chancce of PSU issues since the Dell PSU is over 10 years old.
  14. I have a wierd 4-pin horizontal connector. So it might be hard to find a better (or diffrent) fan.
