  1. I used the exact drivers, the gigabyte RX 570 4G ones the. And Iv'e tested an HDMI Cable on my only HDMI port on my GPU and it still did it. I'm currently going back to my display port and testing all 3 other display port plugs. I can test the GPU on my brothers PC but I don't think he wants to go through with the hassle.
  2. I'm sure it's not the monitor I have tested it on my brothers PC and it did not flicker and he gave me his monitor which was perfectly fine for him and I tested it on my PC and it did the flickering. I did test a HDMI cable over my Display port and it still did it. But I can test the different ports because I have not tried that yet and I'm pretty sure the drivers are fine, I'm using the proper ones.
  3. Hi. Iv'e recently came across a problem where my screen flickers and Iv'e tried multiple fixes. This includes reinstalling drivers, swapping cables, reinstalling windows. Iv'e also swapped monitors with my brother to test it and my monitor did not flicker on his PC but his did on mine and I knew his monitor was fine so it is probably the GPU. Iv'e been using my PC for about 2 months since I built it and this has suddenly turned up. I'm really stumped and don't know how to fix it, is there any other way I can fix this? except from buying a new GPU. I did buy the GPU of eBay for £85 brand new with the box ect, only been tested a couple times and left in the box for months the seller said. I trying to get in contact but there is no answer. I do also have the graphics card overclocked but Iv'e also tried resetting it but either way it still does it. I don't know if this is strange but the flicker does not happen on games full screen but it happens on everything else like games on windowed mode. Sorry if the wording is a bit iffy, I tried to make it short. Also the flicker is quite frequent happening a couple times every 5 mins or so. 4. It just happened now it's too hard to track, instantaneous. It does not happen all the time, only a couple times an hour or so.
  5. Hi. over the past couple of days my monitor screen has been flickering and I have tried reinstalling drivers and checking if my Display port is properly plugged in ect. It has been fine before for over a month but it has suddenly turned up. I do have my graphics card overclocked but I left the overclock ever since and there hasn't been any problems until recently. Iv'e also tried toning down the overclock but still keeps happening. This problem strangely only happens when i'm doing generic windows tasks ect. It does not do it while my games are full screen, it does do it on games which are not full screen though. I really hope Anyone can help me, I did post multiple times on Reddit and this forum but no replies. 6. Iv'e noticed my monitor screen flickering weird colours like green with black lines ect. This has only been happening over the past couple of days. I did unplug my display port from my monitor and plugged it back in then it was fine, but It happened a day later. I have overclocked my graphics card but so far after 3 months it's been fine until recently. I did test games until the overclock was stable. I also do not have anything else overclocked. This problem only happens when I'm doing normal generic tasks not while in games full screen because I do play a game which is not full screen and it does it. It use to do it frequently and Iv'e only seen it do it once today. 7. No I haven't tried that yet I'm trying it today later.
  8. I can't use my keyboard and mouse though they don't even turn on for some reason.
  9. Also I didn't match the settings. The guy suggested I download a program which gave the ram timings for you. Here's the video link
  10. I have the MSI b450 gaming plus motherboard and I know there's a BIOS button, can I just click that to reset it?
  11. I have overclocked my GPU multiple times before but not my CPU. People told me not to overclock my CPU because if you make a small mistake you could burn it out. I think its harder to burn out your GPU.
  12. So it will just reset the BIOS not windows 10 and get rid of all my program ect. Sorry for the noob question. When I first booted up my PC my RAM is running at 2133mhz and I had to change it in the BIOS will I have to do that again?
  13. I have got the manual but I'll list the parts. Gpu: Gigabyte RX 570 RAM: Corsair vengence 2x8GB 3000Mhz Motherboard: MSI B450 GAMING PLUS ATX CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 Power supply: Corsair TX550M
  14. I already tried spamming delete to get into the BIOS. The mouse and keyboard does not even power on.
  15. I followed a YouTube tutorial to overclock my RAM and I pretty much followed the correctly and then I saved and rebooted, now it's just a black screen. I am currently leaving the PC on should I turn it off?
  16. I saw someone said that there could be performance losses, is that true? if not shall I just enable it.
