Have you made sure V-Sync isn't on? This can cause for low frame rates.

Help! Gtx 1650s 4GB GDDR6 or Rx 580 8GB GDDR5?
Jesius replied to Pickle Rock's topic in Graphics Cards
I would say that if you're interested in streaming/making video's the 1650 super is your better bet, since it has the new NVENC encoder.- 10 replies

I've seen benchmarks with a R5 2600 (which in theory is the same chip) that have 80-90 fps on Very High Settings. I've also tried Forza Horizon 3 on Ultra which ran at 90-100 fps, so I think there is something wrong with GTA5 in my instance.

Hello, A couple days ago my GPU was underperforming a lot, which I've fixed now in most games. In GTA 5 i still get pretty low framerates for the hardware that i have. I run a mixture of high and normal settings and I'm getting 60-70 fps, which is not bad but it is low for my hardware. Any help would be appreciated! Hello, I just bought a used 1660 and it seems to be underperforming a lot. I had a r9 280X and it performed better than this 1660, which shouldn't be the case. GTA Online ran at about 30-40 fps on max settings 1080p and i got a Heaven Benchmark score of 1663. These are with a overclock of +120 on the core and +400 on the memory. My specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 AF MOBO: Asus Steel Legend B450M GPU: MSI GTX 1660 Armor OC RAM: 1x 8Gb Vengeance LPX (clocked at 3200 mhz) PSU: Corsair VS550 Storage: 128Gb M.2 SSD and 1Tb Hard Drive

Yes I used DDU before rolling back to old drivers. But I don’t have a second system sadly. I do have to note that the fans of the GPU are spinning and the lights are on, but when I go into Device Manager the GPU doesn’t show up.

Yes and I’ve also tried older drivers, but the drivers I had worked for like a day and then the video output was just gone.

So yesterday I started up Rocket League and I presser CTRL + L to open the Nvidia overlay to turn on fps counter and somehow my 2 displays turned off. The first thing I thought was that maybe I had disconnected the cables with my feet, so I tried reconnecting them and that didn’t work. So I restarted and still no result. Then I put in my old R9 280X and that worked fine. Not sure what to do so I’d take any help I can get! Specs: MOBO: Asus H97M-E CPU: i3-4169 (Looking for an upgrade no worries) GPU: Asus Strix GTX 970 4Gb (3.5Gb ;P) RAM: 8 Gb Kingston DDR3 PSU: Corsair VS550 Storage: 128GB Kingston SSD and Samsung 1TB HDD

I’m not sure about this, but maybe it depends on the server you’re on in rust. So try to join a server with less than 5 people on it. And if that’s not the problem you need to turn off your other monitors (plug them out or switch to "Only show on monitor x" Secondly. Type in "item.skins. 0" in console.

Well my friend can play two point hospital with a 960 and 4gb ram so I don’t think his specs are the problem here.

Have you tried dduing and installing new drivers?
