  1. (I have an old thread with another Problem from the same PC(except the CPU), so you can find more background to the PC here) So I've build my first custom rig and, after getting a new CPU because the old one seemed broken, I powered it up. Everything seemed to go well for the first 10-15 seconds, the fans started spinning, lights were on etc. But then the debug-light 1(CPU) blinked and the PC shut itself down. The screen doesn't show anything, USB ports do not output power. After a few seconds the PC tries to boot again, with the same result. This cycle seems to continue indefinetly. My troubelshooting steps were: Pluging the PSU in and out of everything Reseating CPU, RAM, GPU and SSD Unplugging every not-necessary conection from Motherboard and PSU Replugging everything I could I think it might have something to do with the PSU because I had to plug it in and out many times during my first problem, and it makes some unsetteling electrical sounds if I plug it in. They aren't that noticeable and I can't tell I they were there from the begining, maybe I just didn't notice them. My specs: CPU: Intel Core i7-9700k GPU: MSI Nvidia RTX 2060 Venture Motherboard: MSI Z370-a Pro PSU: CoolerMaster masterwatt 550w Case: Sharkoon TG5 RGB(I'm using the provided coolers) SSD: 512gb adata gammix s11 pro RAM: 2x8GB G.Skill AEGIS F4-3000C DDR4 CPU cooler: Be quiet! BK009 HDD: WD Blue 1TB SATA 6Gb/s HDD internal 8,9cm 3,5Zoll
  2. But if the CPU was incompatible with the Motherboard, it wouldn't have booted at all, right? But it booted a few times(like 9 times) before trying to install windows. Also I bought the Motherboard new.
  3. Looked it up, some other offers for a similar price (~$150). I'd check his reviews(if possible)
  4. It seems a bit too good, but the prices are always falling. I already looked it up a while ago and there were some serious offers for ~$170, so it might be legit.
  5. Check if your USB is big enough. 8GB should do it.
  6. I worked a bit on the PC and the Debug Lamps showed a CPU issue. Re-seated everything and the Lamp still shows up. I guess the CPU has failed. I was a bit suspicios because the CPU arrived one week early and was in a way too big package(like 10 times the volume of the actual CPU box) whithout any protection. I think I'll be getting in contact with the vendor, except you have another idea.
  7. Ok. Will probably take a few hours though, living in europe you know.
  8. I've already tried clearing the CMOS. I'll try re-seating the CPU, RAM and GPU asap. The Motherboard is bought new.
  9. So I build my first custom rig and everything went fine. BIOS showed up and everything seemed normal. But after I tried installing Windows from an USB I had set up a few minutes before I just got a black screen with a few dots in it(typical windows loading screen). I needed to leave my PC alone for some time and after I came back the Screen was black and wouldn't show anything. Also the Power-button couldn't power it of. Because the CPU cooler was pretty hot I decided to turn of the PC via PSU. After that I was abled to turn it on(Lights on the mainboard are on, fans are lighting up and CPU fan is spinning) but the screen was still black and I couldn't power it down via the Power button. In addition the USB and HDMI ports seem to be dead, if I connect my keyboard it won't light up like it did before. I tried some things like removing the GPU and clearing my CMOS but I wasn't abled to start it again. Other special things: My main four fans are currently not working(Delivered with the TG5 RGB, the replacement is coming in a few days, I can't connect them to my Motherboard), the CPU Power supply might not work(the only one I haven't tested), I haven't checked the Error code from the mainboard. Anybody got an idea? My specs are the following: CPU: Intel Core i7-9700k GPU: MSI Nvidia RTX 2060 Venture Motherboard: MSI Z370-a Pro PSU: CoolerMaster masterwatt 550w Case: Sharkoon TG5 RGB SSD: 512gb adata gammix s11 pro RAM: 2x8GB G.Skill AEGIS F4-3000C DDR4 CPU cooler: Be quiet! BK009 HDD: WD Blue 1TB SATA 6Gb/s HDD internal 8,9cm 3,5Zoll
