  1. I will escape my dreaded country even if it will cost me everything i own...
  2. i agree, well i will have to work with what i have here, thank god i have a spare core i5 or else my Computer science degree would have deteriorated... thanks for trying at least!
  3. this actually seems like a viable option over here but i am trying to tackle all calm or passive aggressive methods before having to try pressure.
  4. I live in Lebanon, and the corruption over here is so severe that lawyers will not even care to listen unless bribed secretly or you have a family/friendship connection to them. getting the police here to do anything except stop that one guy who is a stoner on the street is impossible too since they will meniton i dont have evidence and even if i had the owners of the pc parts company belong to a religious group that has connections everywhere and can literally get someone killed over a parking spot and can easily dodge any and all charges or claims against them. i literally have no hope in this country and i wish i evaded it before the inflation happened and everything wend crashing down...
  5. posted it by mistake, editing it right now to mention my question, sorry!
  6. Ok imma start off by mentioning the necessary info first: 1- I live in a country that is not supported by amazon and doesnt deliver to it so i have to depend on whats available locally. 2- The value of the local currency has gotten so bad lately that 1 dollar is four times the price of the local currency which was only 1.5 times the value of the currency nomrally which means everyone now gets paid a quarter of the normal salary since every single thing sold here depends on the dollar's value due to extreme dependency on imported goods. so right now buying non necessary stuff like Pc parts and repair services are incredibly not advised as its a waste of money right now. for example: the price of a core i5 9400f was 200$ normally but now according to the inflation here its more of 550$ now. Anyways my core i7 8700 died on me this february and i went to the local pc parts reseller that i bought the cpu off of and mentioned it was under warranty, they later contacted me saying i didnt buy it from them(which i did and proved it with the proper documents), then they later called and said that i had physically damaged it(which im pretty sure i didnt), and since then every time i call them they mention something about quarantine and them delaying RMA's which they take back instantly when i mention that i had sent them the processor way before it came to this country and the USA for that matter. they took my system to try and test it but ended up returning the case without the motherboard (Gigabyte Z390 UD) for being "damaged" which is not true since i tested it with a core i5 9400f and it works fine, they keep delaying and denying to cooperate while mentioning to call next couple of days/weeks and now they say call back after a month, the warranty lasts till this summer and if they keep delaying im afraid they will return it to me saying it has no warranty. Im really afraid that they may be scamming me or something along those lines, i cant do anything but sit and wait since i cant buy another one nor i can force them to cooperate. please help me on this as i am freaking out right now.
  7. Because of too much free time... and too much vodka bottles.
