  1. I have a friend of mine who is "not-so-good" in English(despite he clearly knows basic English and guessing meaning with G.Translate is) but he always refuse to do Google search and always asks me for answers. (gives answers by Googling his question for him and relay to him) One time, he told me, "Hey, I think my headphone's microphone died." and then I asked if he tried running the windows sound device detection yet. he replied yes. I continues, guessing if he was plugging in a handset(speaker+microphone in one jack) or the headphone(microphone and speaker jack separated). He replied, separated headphone jack. then after a little bit of Q&A(I question he answers) then suddenly, "No, my headphone only have 1 headphone jack." I am confused, then I said I would go to his house and find the problem and possibly solve it. (or his uncle reach him first, since he also asked his uncle) Since I was busy with my stuffs, I can only go and pay a visit a week later. Three days later to be told he dumped the headphone. *facepalm* I decided to let his uncle try and figure the problem now that the headphone itself is gone. His uncle conclusion: This headphone needs a Driver installed to be detected by the computer and enable your microphone. Heck ya. Best part, months later, my friend asked me if he had go online and downloaded the driver, would his headphone be usable again. I am laughing inside my brain the whole time and remembering the time he dumped the headphone and tells me "it's dead" then asks me if the headphone is "truly dead". P.S. I insist him to not immediately assume it was dead and throw it away after i can't figure out his problem that night(via Google search, midnight and sleepy), and he preferred his conclusion of "broken":
