  1. Im a fucking Idiot, panic took the better of me. Ended up loosening it with dental floss and then twisted it off. Everything runs fine now. I paicked because i tried to put it back into a locked cpu socket. This thread can be closed or deleted i dont know how this forum operates.
  2. Hello, Quite recently I thought it was a good idea to reapply the thermal paste on my CPU since i've noticed my Temperatures being quite high and I remember the inital Application was poor. Now i've never done so before and therefore it didnt occure to me that the CPU could be fused to the cooler itself. After taking off the CPU cooler I noticed that the CPU came right off with it and I was not able to seperate the two and didnt want to forcefully remove it. Checked the pins, everything seemed fine and carefully reseated it. Put everything back, tried turning it on. Silence. No attempt at posting, no fan spin, nothing. All my Asus Motherboard showed was a Red Light. I didnt unplug anything other than the CPU fans and the CPU itself. System was running fine before. Tried clearing CMOS via the clear CMOS button on the IO-Panel, didn't help. I doubt its PSU since the power light on my GPU turned green. Did I end up bricking CPU or Mobo? Im clueless as to what to next, any help is appreciated. Edit: I just realized I put the CPU with Cooler attached back into the socket while the socket iself was still locked. I cant open/lock it with the cooler attached and I am afraid to seperate the block since I dont want to bend pins. How do I safely remove the CPU without causing damage? My CPU cooler is the Scythe Mugen 5 PCGH. Ryzen 2700x Asus Crosshair Hero VII Wifi GTX1070 Corsair Vengance 3200mhz
  3. Just a heads up about the G305 it's a great mouse but its quite small and might not fit everyone. My hands are similliar to yours in size (19cm / 9cm) and i use fingertip grip aswell. After about 2~3 months of using the G305 in OW and other FPS games i noticed pain in the balm of my thumb that made gripping things and typing on my phone somewhat painfull and i figured out at after switching back to my old G402 that my new mouse was the problem. I would therefore suggest you rather go for the G703 which is a bit bigger and should be more comfortable for your hand. Oh and definetly check out Rocket Jump Ninja on YT if you havent already, he is fantastic at reviewing mice.
