  1. my 7950X3D idles at 40-50c so thats normal dont worry about it
  2. im running dx11, i dont know tbh maybe its a dx11 issue
  3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LagZPIWtMs you can see in this video that when he plays on 2k low which is somewhat similar to my settings, he also gets these occasional micro stutters, im guessing its just a game issue like i said
  4. im using balanced power plan. i think its just a game issue, i did go to my friends house and played many games and also noticed some microstutters in many games and he is on intel, it could just be normal, i mean they are very small and rare, cuz also i did like 20 reinstalls, like clean reinstalls for windows and no matter what i still sometimes get them, even on my older pc with a 3080 i used to get them
  5. i tried and it still had small microstutters, theyre rare and theyre not gamebreaking but im guessing it could be cuz the game is running at like 400+ frames, game im talking about is Rainbow Six Siege
  6. this microstutters are a bit annoying which is why i wanted a fix, i already have prefer cache on but i think sometimes the games switch to the 2nd ccd which causes that small stutter then goes back. is there no fix?
  7. i downloaded process lasso and set everything to run on the frequency cores and i will set the games to run on the cache cores, i heard this reduces latency and reduces micro stutters, mind you i do have prefer cache on. is there anything i should be careful of when using process lasso? anything to avoid or any tips in general? I am using windows 11 pro if that helps in anyway and everything is updated including game bar and xbox app and windows itself of course
  8. im looking to play vrgames on steam and whatnot and i saw the oculus quest 2 had a good price, is it good? also what is the difference between meta quest 2 and oculus quest 2?
  9. fallout 4 on my 4090 is capped on 120 fps and if i changed it to unlimited through ini file the game speed increases as if im like fast forwarding. any idea how to play on higher framerate without this weird issue
  10. try connecting your display cable to the mobo and see if you get any display
  11. yes, however turning off weapon debris fixed it
  12. Just downloaded fallout 4 on steam, i have no mods and im playing on everthing ultra maxed out on 1440p and the game keeps crashing on first mission. no error whatsoever just crashing to desktop. SPECS: Win 11 pro latest version RTX 4090 7950X3D 32gb ram 5600mhz cl36 xmp enabled game and windows on 980 pro ssd 1tb any fix? im using the ultra hd texture pack
  13. i cant find this wallpaper with a high resolution like 4k or 1440p, can someone help me find it please.
  14. I didnt input anything related to memory in ryzen master thats the thing, but whenever id try to reset with reset memory parameter on, it would just freeze
  15. I was trying ryzen master curve optimizer and when i wanted to reset the settings back to default it would freeze. I would have to turn off reset memory parameter for it to reset without freezing, even though i did nothing to the memory it was just the cpu. So i what i did was i uninstalled ryzen master and reset my bios settings and then enabled xmp again like the usual. Now 2 days later my pc crashed with an error of kernel mode heap corruption and in bluescreen view it says the ntoskrnl.exe driver crashed. How can i reset what ryzen master did? Specs: 7950x3d 32gb 2x16 corsair dominator 5600mhz cl36 Win 11 pro Rtx 4090 B650e-f asus strix mobo
  16. ill check right now, however the video i saw it was on a 7950X non 3d so i dont think its a cache issue
  17. nop, its like a dollar on epic games my friend told me that but its okay i thought you had it.
  18. if you have siege you can try for yourself and set everything to ultra on 1440p, im seeing like almost 200 frames less than other people and i dont know why. 3dmark tests i get really good scores 37.6k on gpu and 17-19k cpu
  19. i was expecting a lot more frames in siege, not that i need it but i have a feeling something is off, i tried benchmarking the game on ultra settings with a 4090 and a 7950X3D and my avg on ultra settings with vulkan and dx11 is like 400-440. im seeing higher numbers all over youtube, im talking almost 600fps avg with similar specs. can someone confirm if they have siege that the numbers im getting are normal
  20. yeah thats pretty much almost like mine, ik that im running a strix but i think both have very good coolers and will have similar temps. i guess the ambient temp was the reason i was getting lower temps, it was much colder a couple of months ago where i live which explains these 4-5 degree differences
  21. what is your model 4090? and what temperatures do you get on average in games that pull almost 400w. this info would be of great value to me
