  1. Greetings,

Looking for opinion.  Which would you buy.

    Razer 14"

    RZ09-0427NEA3-R3U1

    • AMD Ryzen™ 9 6900HX (8-core) Processor
    • 14" IPS Wide Viewing Angle QHD (2560x1440) 165Hz Display
    • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3070Ti Graphics, 8GB
    • Intel® Wi-Fi 6E (2x2/160) Gig+ and Bluetooth® 5.3
    • Windows 11 Home (64-bit)

    MSI GS66 Stealth

    12UGS-039

    • 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-12900H Processor
    • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3070Ti, 8GB
    • 15.6" Anti-Glare QHD (2560 x 1440) 240Hz Display
    • Steel Series RGB with Anti-Ghost Keyboard
    • Windows 11 Home (64-bit)

I am torn which way to go. Right now the Razer is 100 bucks cheaper.   I will be doing work and gaming, and when not traveling will be using it on a 4k monitor.

Any help would be great, as i am just being indecisive.  My current laptop is a Dell G7 15 7590  - i7 9750H, with a RTX 2060 on a FHD.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

  2. Greetings,

Play games at 4k, web, rare photo or video editing.

Which build is in your opinion better, and if you could change something what would it be.  I already have a FTW3 hybrid 1080ti, and for storage have 970 evo plus 500gb, with a 860qvo 1tb, and a x300 4tb storage drive.

Any opinions and alterations are helpful, even if its, "hey stupid, why did you....."  lol

  3. Greetings,

It looks like my shiny xr500 is going to have to go back.  problems with lutron homekit, directv, and other devices is just too much of a pain.

I am looking at the ax8 as a replacement since they on sale 100 bucks off.

    Any other recommendations?

  4. Greetings,

Am thinking of upgrading from a 6700k to the following:

I already have a 500gb 970 evo plus, and a 4tb storage drive and 1tb QVO game drive and a 1080ti FTW3 Hybrid to transplant.

Just looking at ideas on things i might want to change.  I do gaming and some light video/photo editing.  looking to maybe get into streaming.

    Thanks for the look at.

  5. Greetings,

I am currently running a setup of

    Intel Core i7 6700K at 4.4

    Gigabyte Z170x-Gaming 3

    32 gigs of A-data Tech Hynix DDR 4 2800 in XMP 2.0

    EVGA FTW3 Hydro 1080Ti

    Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB for C

Samsung 860 QVO 1TB for games

    Toshiba x300 for data

Sound blaster ZX due to earlier win 10 problems with Optical

startech 4port PCI express superspeed usb 3.0 card for my Oculus.

I was thinking of upgrading the CPU/Motherboard/Memory, but not sure if current gen is worth the cost to upgrade.  This machine is primarily for gaming, and web use.

Just not sure if it is worth it.  I score over 100% on all 3 of the   User benchmark scores, so not sure if it really is worth spending the money.

Any ideas, or confirmation of my not worth it yet thought is kinda what i am looking for.

    Thanks in advance.
