    Good advice! Running networking cable is so much easier when the gypbrock isn’t on the walls! I’d be prioritising at least a double near every place you want to have media playing. TV + console or TV + streaming box (Apple TV?). Get that high bandwidth off the wireless. You might be able to integrate IP cameras with your streaming box to save that - i think snazzy labs did something like this in his setup.

    I probably wouldn’t open up SMB to the internet… have you tried using it with a mesh vpn? Something like Tailscale? You can then just share that box with your friends…

    Whats the app called specifically? Usually dragging will work. But sometimes it can be finnicky. Sometimes I just give up and do something along the lines of: sudo rm -r /Applications/App\ Name.app
