Both are equally safe, but reconsider your ram choices. Having a b350 motherboard means you have Ryzen 1st/2nd gen, and you want at least 3000MHz ram speed for that (CL shouldn't matter too much).

It may say designed for Intel, but it'll still work on Ryzen, it's just optimized for Intel. Search it up to be sure yourself if you have doubts though.

Unless you are putting ddr3 ram in a ddr4 slot or whatever, any ram is compatible. Those are just the ram speeds in which it's the manufacturer's fault if it crashes ur system, iirc.

Using a bottleneck calculator, and own personal opinion, I think it would be safe to say a 12-18% bottleneck would happen.

Yeah, bitiwt has a dan case with a 2700x, a water-cooler, and other stuff, which is powered by a 450w PSU. He even was able to use the 3900x with it, and OC a bit iirc. He'll be fine. Also thats a 1080 not a 1080ti.

@maks35353, this should be a good build. Problem is that there won't be much power for overclocking, because of the better GPU. Also a CPU stepdown, but that should be fine. A bit less storage, but it's faster. Not the Ryzen 3000 APU's. They're still Zen+, same graphics, just a clockspeeds boost I think, and maybe a die shrink.
