  1. That really sucks because I was given a lot of parts and this processor wasn't even in the right socket on the motherboard. Oh well, off to the junk box I presume.
  2. Could I make a build with this processor for school to browse the internet and Netflix streaming? Under the name of the processor it says: ADA2800AEP4AX. Going off this website, http://www.cpu-world.com/info/id/AMD-K8-identification.html, this says that the processor is a single core on socket 754. Even if this could be a feasible build for what I want, wouldn't it be too expensive to buy parts?
  3. My animal has no possible way of getting up onto my desk, also the package was opened yesterday and to my knowledge it was ordered last month. I just received this as a gift
  4. Hello all, today when I got home from shopping and sat down to play some Counter-Strike, something odd happened. I played one game fine, and when I got into the next one, I went afk for a moment to plug my phone in and when I came back I noticed a scratch on my screen. I thought it was a possible dead pixel but upon touching the mark it appeared to be a scratch. I honestly have no idea where it came from as I do not abuse my electronics and most certainly not this monitor that was a gift. It is an ASUS VG248QE and I am curious as to whether or not the warranty would replace it. If one were to run their finger over it, they would feel that it is a break in the glass like an iPhone or any other phone with a cracked screen. So my question is, will Amazon replace this or would I have to contact ASUS for support and possibly RMA and replace the glass or replace the monitor altogether? The pics included are the best ones I can get.
  5. I have no idea, at the bottom it said dumping physical memory. It went by so fast, I'm surprised I caught what it said.
  6. I went to start up Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, went into a community server and then....BAM. the blue screen happened again. I really don't know what I am doing so I just restarted, went into the BIOS and set it back to the default frequency.
  7. Ran a stress test provided by Intel for 10 minutes and it said I passed. Highest temp was 75 degrees celcius. So I guess this means I am good and stable on a 4.4GHz OC?
  8. After DLing this and my PC blue screens again, do I lower the speed? If so, by how much?
  9. will this cause my computer to blue screen? Prime95 did and I'm not worried that it will happen again. I am a complete noob when it comes to overclocking.
  10. Prime95 just BSOD my PC. Do I lower the OC or try a different program?
  11. So just DL and run and go to dinner and check back after? What kind of temps should I be looking for?
  12. Just OC'd my CPU, what next??

  13. Hello all, after months of having my new Intel build, I figured it was time to overclock. I have OC'd to 4.4 GHz on a i5-4670K and I am curious as to what is next. I believe that would be stress testing, amirite? How would I go about that? CPU is being cooled with a Corsair H100i.
  14. Hello all, today my issue is about gaming monitors. I currently am using a BenQ GW2255 60hz and I want to upgrade to a gaming monitor but have no idea what to look for. I am looking at this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236307R since it has a 1ms response time but is the refresh rate more important? What is a good gaming monitor that won't break the bank?
