Same issue here with my new Asus Arez Striz Vega 56... Crashes during game with Waterman failure.

I bought the Asus Arez Strix Radeon RX VEGA56, should arrive today. From why I could gather, the VRM-issues with the ROG-edition are no longer present in the Arez-edition. The product page for the latter mentions improved PCB while the first does not.

That's what I was thinking too, so it seems like a good option indeed. But are problems with VRM and such solved in the Arez version?

My Asus HD7970 died today, after many years of good service. So I'm looking for a replacement. I was hoping to upgrade when the Navi lineup was available. However, those cards won't be available for a while. So I was looking into a Vega 56 as a replacement. Other options include a 590 or Vega 64, but the 56 has a nice price (~325 euro). I'd like to stick to AMD. Reason I opened a topic here, is to find out if the Arez card is a good option and if issues with older ROG card are fixed in this newer card.
