  1. Hi All, I have a 2 month old, Ryzen 2600 & RTX 2070 PC. It’s been working just fine until I moved to college. I set it up in my dorm, and my games kept crashing so I got rid of my overclock that has been working fine before, but it still was crashing, all the drivers were updated and everything. I thought maybe updating my bios would help it, so I did that and my computer would work just fine for a few minutes then the screen would go black for a minute then come back on and it kept doing that. I tried to uninstall the old driver and reinstall then but it just keeps getting worse, I tried to completely reinstall windows but now my screen just goes black and stays black while everything is still on. I made sure everything is plugged in but I don’t know what is going on and why it keeps happening. Everything works fine in the BIOS it’s just when I boot into windows it starts going black. Any help is appreciated, I just want my computer back. Thanks
  2. I’m looking to build a new computer and I really wanna take advantage of the deals going on right now and I don’t wanna wait until July for Ryzen 3000. I was curious if anyone thinks buying a 2600 as a filler and then either finding a way to return it or sell it in the used market is a viable option to upgrade to Zen 2. Another option is to just hold on to it until Christmas and then upgrade then. Thoughts?
  3. I’ve heard and seen some different things. I am just curious if anyone has any insight on the visual drawbacks of gaming on a 1440p display at 1080 resolution? Some people say blurriness and some say there are black borders I am just wondering if anyone has tried it or seen it done and if it is a viable option for certain situations.
  4. I am debating on whether buying an intel system or a ryzen one. I am looking to spend around $1200-$1300 USD. I live in the US and am contemplating on whether building a Ryzen 2600 with a RTX 2070 or add more cpu power and go with an Intel i5 8600k and settle for an RTX 2060. Both would have 16gb 3200 speed ram, 650 W power supply, 1tb m.2 ssd. Also not sure what mobo to put in the intel one and would probably opt for a b450 rather than a x470 in the AMD one. I plan on gaming extensively, and while being a computer major in college I would like to do my programming and virtual machine security homework on there as well. Most benchmarks say a 2070 is only 5-10% better than a 2060 but with 1440p and the two extra gigs of VRAM I wonder what is more viable in the relative future or if it doesn’t matter as much. I am looking at an LG 32” 1440p monitor to run with this build. Just looking for some outside source opinions, thank you.
