  1. Hi, I've an ASRock H310M-HDV/M.2 which supports only PCIe Gen2 x4 M.2. I want to order this TEAMGROUP MP34 512GB NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 Solid State Drive SSD TM8FP4512G0C101, it says it supports Gen3 x 4 high and Read/Write speed up to 3,000/1,700 MB/s. As per my understanding, the motherboard will cause the speed to drop to half of the claimed speed, is that right?
  2. Hi, Please, I need your input regarding this PSU, it seems the only option under my budget: https://www.thermaltake.com/smart-bx1-rgb-550w.html Thanks,
  3. Hi, I've just got my brand new Gigabyte Aorus RX 580 4GB card for like 200$ which seems a good deal to me. The box is new and all accessories included. The card looks new and fresh, but I noticed a "Gigabyte Qualified" yellow tape on the anti-static bag. I can't test it right now as the PSU is arriving. Is this something to worry about? Do you think it's a used or refurbished card?
  4. Thank you all guys. I've opted the Gigabyte AORUS Radeon RX 580 4GB RGB for 10$ plus, and I hope I did the right decision.
  5. Hi, I'm getting this for a promotional price (in my country). https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/Radeon-RX-570-ARMOR-8G-OC.html Thanks
  6. Hi, Please help me choose between these two graphics cards for 1080p gaming experience, they are both priced the same: Asus Phoenix Gtx 1060 3Gb Asus Rog Strix Rx 570 Oc 4Gb Current specs: CPU: i5 8400 RAM : 8GB 2666mHz Kingstom SSD A400 240GB I've a Samsung monitor with FreeSync support if that makes sense. Thanks
  7. Thank you all guys for contribution. I'll consider a better 500w PSU for sure.
  8. @GoldenLag Here is the product page: https://www.fsplifestyle.com/en/product/hd420w.html @EpimetheusWhy is this PSU so terrible? I'm from Algeria BTW.
  9. Hi, I'm planning to build my first gaming rig and basically I'm starting with just the CPU, motherboard, and the RAM. Actually, there is a local offer in my country for an i5 8400 + stock cooler + H310 Motherboard + 8GB 2400mhz of RAM for like 250$: ASROCK H310M-DGS CPU INTEL CORE i5 8400 DDR4 8G CRUCIAL PC2400 This offer will save like 20$ because the motherboard does not have an HDMI or D-Sub ports, which is not a problem for me. I'm also considering an ATX12V/EPS12V 420W 80 PLUS power supply for like 35$, and since I have used case and an 240GB SSD I'll use those to save some extra bucks. The next month, I'll consider adding an RX570 or RX580 to the build. Do you think this is fine or should I take another path?
  10. Both R5 2600 and R5 1600 are not available so I have to go with either 2400G or an i3 8100. There is a RYZEN 7 2700X but that's still way above my budget.
  11. Hi, I'm building my first gaming PC based on the Ryzen 5 2400G APU and there is only a few options for the discrete Graphics cards available in my country (restricted by budget as well): 1 - GIGABYTE RADEON RX 570 GAMING 4G -MI- 2 - MSI GEFORCE GTX 1650 GAMING X 4G Which one I have to go with? Kind Regards, Islam
  12. Hello guys, I need your opinions regarding this HP monitor, it costs me around 205$ (I'm not in USA) https://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-elitedisplay-e273-27-inch-monitor Regards,
  13. Hi there, I want to buy this Samsung monitor (not from the mentioned site but from local store) for 150euros and I want your opinions: I just want it for surfing/video playback/software development. https://lastbestprice.com/shop/samsung/samsung-27-led-hdmi-s27f350fhm/ Thanks
  14. Not worth the effort upgrading this machine to Windows 10 as you could run into other incompatibility issues aside the GPU driver such as Intel CPU Microcode update that requires an updated BIOS to run Windows 10 latest updates (I ran into similar problem back when I had an Acer with i5 5200U and the manufacturer didn't offer a BIOS update so I wasn't able to run Windows 10 update 1809 on my laptop). But anyway. you could force Windows to install the generic driver for your intel GPU (just google it). https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28662/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=81016
