Hi lads, Recently a friend of mine upgraded his CPU and left me with his 2700x. Its been a long time since I've looked into this chip and don't remember a whole lot about what it went well with. What kind of GPU could I pair with it? Currently I'm on a 1440p 144hz monitor.

Which drive is your OS downloaded on? Which ever one that is it should be your first option, not the Windoes Boot Managarr.

Is your boot priority set up? This is just a weird gut feeling but it seems like it's checking different drives and restarting over and over again until it finds your OS.

Hi all, Not exactly sure how this happened but I have a Yeti X that suddenly stopped working. The computer has identified it and it is still receiving power. It is also still an option for being an input on Windows and other applications like Discord or Google Meets. However, the microphone won't pick up any sound. The mic is plugged in and the LED on the wheel says that it is on, but whenever I try to speak it doesn't pick anything up. Anyone know how to fix this or have any ideas as to what else to try? Hello all, So I ran into a BSOD with a memory_managment error. This was after I enabled the XMP profile on the RAM. This has happened with 2 kits of RAM and I'm not sure if I should change the mother board. Both RAM kits were Corsair vengeance, one was lpx and the other was rgb pro. Is there something wrong with the B450m ds3h specifically or is something to do with Corsair Ram and this Gigabyte board? Let me know if you have a solution and thank you in advance.

Well I plan on upgrading the MoBo regardless and I'm in Canada. The streaming is more of a side hobby as well.

Right now I've got a 2600x and a 1660ti.

I will be lightly streaming a little bit which is why I was thinking about the higher core count of the 5700g. I should've mentioned that in the original post.

No I'm talking about the 5600x. Mainly I'll be gaming with a some streaming here and there which is why I was thinking about the 5700g at all. I already have a GPU, but I am looking to upgrade when the market stabilizes itself.

Hi all, Happy holidays. I've found myself trying to choose between a 5600x and a 5700g. Both are very similarly priced in my area at the moment so I'm trying to decide if the 8-cores are worth it with the 5700g. Wow is it only gives x8 lanes to the GPU slot? Are you sure it's not x16?

Hi everyone, With the holidays around the corner I figured now would be the best time to get some upgrades in for my system. However, I'm a little torn at the moment. Ideally I would want to go for a 5600x, but the 5600g is also up for sale at about $85 cheaper. A lot of the reviews I've seen say that the 5600x is faster than the 5600g, but only by about 5-10%. Is that extra performance worth the extra money? Thanks

Do you plan on plugging the Ethernet into the router directly or wiring up your whole house? Regardless of that it should be the same speed however.
