  1. So this was the freaking issue man, an old sata cable that was still plugged into the mobo, nothing on the other end and hasn't been for a year or 2! Now it causes an issue. I don't know man. 6 hours to figure that out.
  2. So I've reseated everything, still the issue remains, does this mean my mobo is bricked?
  3. Just tried the jumper method also replaced cmos battery. I'll try reseting the cpu
  4. Are you talking about a flash back bios? A feature some boards have, unfortunately not my board.
  5. That didn't work still stuck on the same screen.
  6. Right OK, I'll give it a shot. I'll turn it all off and remove the battery, I'll give it 10-15 mims and put it back in. See what it does. I'll let you know.
  7. I'm apprehensive to do that. It's a x470-f mobo that doesn't suppot the 5000 series cpu out the box. If I clear cmos it will essentially revert the mobo to stock, correct? So it won't then boot because it will no longer be able to recognise the my cpu.
  8. I'm loosing the will, I've been plague by a series of issues lately. The newest you can see in the link below. System was working fine and had a windows update, I download amd installed the update, click on the windows button and 'update and restart' the pc. It did its thing booted back up into wondows no problem. My partner spent a hour or so doimg some work. After she had finished she shit it down properly. I came to use it, turned it in and now I'm stuck on this screen and can't get past it. It won't allow me to enter bios or F2. You can see by the lights on my mobo that the system is goimg through its boot cycle as it should just fine amd everything thing else is is powering up. What is going on with it, hope someone knows! Thanks. Strix x470-f gaming/6700xt/5600x/32gb ddr4 3200 https://youtu.be/ZWck1GjL-pE
  9. Ah fair enough then that's good to know. Guess all i realy need to do then is learn to get the most out of my 6700xt. Playing at 1440p, currently got it to about 115 fps on warzone. Also if thats the case think I'll save some more cash then trade out the 6700xt for a 6800xt, then maybe swap out my 5600x for a 5800x, then mobo to a x570.
  10. Hey guys, So I upgraded my GPU that has gen 4 pcie, my x470 board supports gen 3 pcie. I've not been able to upgrade that yet! Question I have, though it's running at x16 3.0 am I missing out on much performance (fps) as it isn't running in 4.0? Thanks.
  11. Yeah thanks, I'm going to try and reach out to my local store monday, thanks
  12. Yes I know doesn't support 5000 series out of the box but Asus have provided a bios update to make it compatible. However thatbis what I'm saying I haven't done a bios update in a very long time. So it does not habe the 5000 series update of that I'm pretty sure. So no post to the monitor. Is finding a 3000 the answer? Can i factory reset so to speak, when you first build a system the mobo has no cpu bios on you have to flash it right? Can I do that process again? Download the most recent bios on another device and update it that way? But with no image on screen i can't really do that can I!?
  13. *RESOLVED* It took putting in a natively supported cpu to update the bios, due to no flash back bios feature on this board. Hey guys I think I've messed up somewhat and I don't know how to fix it. I've recently got a new gpu and cpu, amd 6700xt and 5600x. I had previously had a 580 and a 3600xt. Running on a rog strix x470-f gaming mobo, samsumg m.2 nvme. I sold my old gear to put towards the new. I've put everything back together and I'm getting nothing on screen. There's power and the pc starts up and everything is on. My new gpu fans aren't spinning up, I've taken my gpu down to a local store and had it tested and it runs fine. I don't believe I've updated the bios for awhile so I'm wondering because I've just swapped out cpu's with no updating (slipped my mind to do so), that this is the problem. I believe I have also cleared the cmos by removing the battery for a couple of mims and putting it back in. So with no signal being recieved by the system so no display to see bios, how can I fix this? Appreciate suggestions etc.
  14. Hi guys, so I was looking to set up a vpn for my XSX console via ethernet to my PC and have my PC connected to my router. My MOBO is a rog strix x470-f. It has only one ethernet. Can I use just that one ethernet port to achieve what I want with a splitter, or is there a device that will allow me to do so. Basically my router and xbox both connected to that one port!? Thanks in advance. *EDIT* I May of just thought of my own answer, if I'm not mistaken I could get a network adaptor card right? Then connect my PC to my router through that!?
  15. That's was an entertaining exchange to read lol. So I would have an overlay and a small camera, atm cam is 720p, alerts I can use Overlay Expert. Its an extension on Twitch that will push the alerts for me. It can do the Overlay also but it only pushes to desktop devices.
  16. Awesome well that save me some money then if it works out, thanks for your input ☺
  17. That rings a bell but as it happens I am on Affiliate status atm. Sobetter res!
  18. Do you iyo just the 3400g would be sufficient to stream 1080p @60fps!? Yes it would purely be a streaming station in this sense, gaming from console with capture card.
  19. Like I said a cheap GPU lol somthing like a 580 working with the 3400g. I would be playing on console not pc, I would use a capture card to the pc and stream via obs.
  20. Hi guys I'm taking up streaming again, currently streaming through xbox x. I have a pc with a 3400g, if got a capture card and use the pc purely to stream via obs, what sort of quality and frames should I expect to put out? Would getting a cheap old GPU that can do 1080p take a load off the APU, thoughts?
