  1. LinusMediaGroup is an excellent source of technological news, and will prosper, for years to come.
  2. That could also be a monitor issue. How are games running right now?
  3. I have had this same problem, and an easy fix would be to- 1. Open Steam 2. Right Click the game not working and click properties 3. Click Local files and navigate to "Browse Local Files" 4. Click on that and you will see all the files making up your game. 5. Now you want to highlight all the files and delete them. 6. Make sure not to just delete the game off steam and re-download it, that won't work. 7. Exit that window, and then hit the play button on the game. It will say you are missing the executable. 8. Now delete the game and re-install it. What this does is makes sure that all of the components of the game are off. Steam some times leave things there, so that if you re-download it, it will be faster. Once the download completes, all the files will be back. This happened to my lenovo y510p. I think it is because windows 8 to 8.1 deletes files that it can't recognize. This worked for every last one of my games. Thanks, and reply if there is a problem!
