Hello everyone, i`m having a problem with my new SSD that`s driving me nuts! i ordered a new case and a PNY CS900 120GB SSD
so i switched cases, fired it up and installed Windows on it (note that my secondary HDD was installed with a couple of games on it)
Windows installed, reboot, windows asks me to select Windows volume 1 or 2 ( i later found out that the HDD had a boot manager on it)
anyway, i get confused, and installed an older version of Windows, works like a charm
updated windows to 1809, reboot, stuck at BIOS post with the A2 error, only the harddrive shows up
so i restart the computer using the restart button, still no sign of the SSD, i turn the machine off
by holding the power button, turn it back on, computer boots (this happened a lot of times thoughout the whole saga)
so there i am downloading some games and all of the sudden the computer freezes but i can still move the mouse
then blue screen, restart and missing SSD, this went on and on and on, then Windows would refuse to start up
after the Windows logo i would either get a blue screen of death or just a black screen, WHEN Windows
decided to start, i would use the pc for like 10s or less and it would freeze again, i literally tried everything
under the sun to fix this issue, you name it, i did it, BIOS reset, drivers, cables
everything, today i removed the SSD and installed Windows on the HDD
so far so good, no problems, is it a faulty SSD? maybe a missing driver?
PLEASE HELP ME
please note that i did try to boot with the hdd disconnected, no luck
