  1. I am looking to purchase a new z390 board for my 9700k. I have about $300 and have narrowed it down to these 3 boards. I have used asus boards for a while and like them, but I also see that all the boards are nice. What is your opinion?
  2. It could be an issue with your motherboard/chipset and the drives. I would just try moving the drives around in different sata ports and maybe trying to use 1 ssd and 1 hdd
  3. If you are running a stock 1080p 60Hz panel, that would be what I would save my green for. Your hardware is probably fine for a year or two longer. How many frames are you getting now?
  4. Hello, I am purchasing a new motherboard for a new I7 9700k and need some advice on the difference between either of the boards. If anyone has any experience with either, please share ROG Maximus Hero: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/zvQG3C/asus-rog-maximus-xi-hero-wi-fi-atx-lga1151-motherboard-rog-maximus-xi-hero-wi-fi ROG Maximus Code: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/W9YLrH/asus-rog-maximus-xi-code-atx-lga1151-motherboard-rog-maximus-xi-code

I have run into the same issue with my mobo. You can purchase a Corsair Commander Pro and use the 2 digital rgb headers on board. You can also use the Lighting Node Pro included in rgb fans and strips. 6. Not a bad idea. I like the 3600 approach. I would probably opt for a new memory kit because mine is well, good for ddr4 launch standards.
  7. Hello. With the holiday season and Black Friday coming up, I am looking to upgrade my rig. Currently I have an i5 6600k running at 4.9 ghz and a vega 64. I am looking to upgrade either my graphics card to a RTX 2070 Super, but I am concerned about creating a bottleneck with the cpu. I have about $300-$350 to spend, so I could either sell my Vega 64 and purchase a RTX card or sell my current cpu/mobo and upgrade my cpu to something like a 9600k, 9700k or a 3700x. Please advise. Thank you
  8. Hello, In my gaming rig I have an Asus z-170a with an i5 6600k. My mobo doesn’t have a rgb header since it is not a “gaming motherboard”. I would like to add some lights to my case and have them controlled via Asus Aura or similar. Any ideas on how to do this? I am handy.
