  1. Might have to go that route then sadly, problem is amazon routed this from another country so shipping em back is gonna take ages/be a pain too. Very sad that they are forcing software down peoples throats when it's obviously not needed
  2. Hi LTT Forums, I recently upgraded my 2019 Arctis 7 to the Arctis 7+ Edition that is just meant to be the same with some battery, USB C and comfort upgrades however I am feeling like I got a complete downgrade. Mic sidetone on my old 7 was at medium and perfect, on the 7+ on just low it is far too loud and backgroundy noise turning to a soft hazy static. Trying to tune any mic settings in the software or anything doesn't seem to change the sidetone mic either. Using the global volume wheel on my device to turn it down and then windows audio up works but is a bad workaround esp if the wheel was to get knocked or such. The equalizer isn't really something I touch but now it goes up in 0.5 steps versus my old Arctis 7 went up in 0.1 steps. Lastly the software, with my old Arctis 7 it showed as 2 audio output devices and 1 mic without needing any stupid software on, but with the 7+ you NEED to enable "Sonarr" and when you do it adds 3 more audio devices on top of the normal one and another mic too, which turns my audio setup into a huge messy list when taking into account steam speakers and my desktop speakers. This device literally feels like a downgrade, am I missing something, my MAIN issue is the sidetone as I can "deal" with a messy audio output list even though I didn't have to before. But very tempted to figure out how to return stuff to amazon and instead buy a logitech headset.
  3. Would love custom keycaps for my 815 but these kailh ones honestly seem worse, I dislike the texture from OPs pic and if they are also thinner/smaller and stuff, not sure it'll be worth it for me. Shame really, any recommendations on good keyboards like the logitech series that are open to modded keycaps? Or just basically anything thats cherry mx?
  4. Sony stuff usually does require require additional software, steam is definitely the way to go however they are still updating every few days with fixes/features for the new controller. Might need to be on the steam beta channel too
  5. Apparently Bungie have started a thread and are looking into this, I don't play many other games and was curious if my card was broken or something but it seems its just a big D2 issue. Also curious about thoughts on a 1440p@144Hz monitor since even a 3080 seems to struggle with 1080@144hz with some newer games/rtx games but I guess thats a bit of a different thread
  6. Yikes, I tried the free CoD Cold War and I get like 100ish FPS at 1080p with DLSS off and RTX on medium/ultra which seems alright, DLSS seems ugly on every mode but that might be due to 1080p edit: DLSS seems to do crap all for 1080p in cold war, when I used DSR for 4k downscaling it seemed to work pretty well, it also seems my FPS on the 3080 beats most online benchmarks for the 2080ti by 20-30%ish so it seems my card isn't fucked at least? seems like a good push for me to get 1440p if other games all had DLSS
  7. I am looking at a 1440p@144hz monitor, but if my games cant run 144hz at 1080p why should I buy a 1440p monitor its not like performance is better at 1440p I have the files from HWInfo here, this is all a bit over my head sorry XD but I started "recording" then opened the game-destiny 2 (and went to the tower and ran around a bit), then closed it and stopped the recording d2 logging.CSV
  8. Yeah, any thoughts on what it might be?
  9. XD, Getting really tilted about all this because AFAIK it really should be running well. I know its not the best CPU but still
  10. Roomie told me to tell you all again that GPU-Z says the "limiting factor"/"bottleneck" is Vop/Vrel, can I increase those somehow? MSI afterburner doesnt let me
  11. Game has no RTX, 150% tanked my FPS to 80ish
  12. Looking at ryzen master it also shows no cores/threads going over 50ish %, would assume even if it doesnt use all cores the cores that ARE being used would be maxing out?
  13. Would CPU not be at a higher usage then? No cores are near cap according to Ryzen Master and Task Manager
  14. GPU-Z says Vrel and Vop are the limiting factors, assuming that means the voltage is at max on the card, is this normal when GPU usage isn't even hitting over 80%?
  15. I'm running a 3080 Asus TUF with a 3600 Ryzen 5 CPU at 4.2GHz with 3200Mhz RAM. + 1080p 144fps screen with freesync/gsync OFF. I'm sitting in Destiny 2 with all settings at max, 1080p, 100% render resolution with Nvidia's control panel set to maximum performance not power saving. Any idea why in the tower i'm sitting around 110fps and in crucible around 120fps? Both GPU and CPU utilization seem way below what they could be with CPU at 40-50% and GPU at 70-80%. My friend has a 2080ti and gets 120fps at 1440p at the same settings so i'm confused as heck, I have a proper 750W power supply with multiple PCIE power ports for each cord. I'm on the latest driver (tried previous too) and have tried low latency mode on off, on and boost/ultra with no real difference, windows is on ultimate performance mode too with W10 Pro Vers 1909
