  1. Not exactly the universities fault that volumetric flow sensors for cryogenic fuels are thousands of dollars. Just we don't get any grant money from them so we are all self funded.
  2. Literally this the easiest Idea I could come up with and this is why I'm for suggestions
  3. Current problem of the day, I am currently a university student on a project design team supporting four teams working on multiple high-power rocket systems. We are currently hitting a budget shortfall of thousands of dollars. I am currently brain storming ways to make money for the team. Current plan was to go on GovDeals and find some old optiplexs for cheap and try to refurbish them to make some profit and contribute it to the team. If there are some easier ways to make money building computers or ways to crowdsource or any better ideas they would be welcome with open arms.
  4. Just curious if anyone had done anything similar to give me some hope of finishing this quickly, but its moving about a 1% per minute now so I think I should be alright.
  5. Already have all the important files off, just don't wanna be here all night to baby this thing along. But it's been going for 10 minutes and its at 2% so gonna be here a while lol
  6. My username is quite ironic. Currently cloning about 160 Gb from a nearly dead hard drive from a very old optiplex to a new Kingston SATA SSD, how long should I expect this to take because I cannot be in the location this is occuring all night and the Hard drive is currently hovering around 5-10 Mb/s on resource monitor.
  7. So were you able to flash the BIOS with M flash without the CPU in the socket?
  8. I am trying to do the same thing for a B450 Bazooka V2 board, did this method work with the CPU installed in the socket or did you have a previous Ryzen 1st or second Gen CPU in the socket? Please advise how to do this because currently I am lost for options as how to use the M flash tool?
  9. I have my personal gaming computer, but it is intel based, never heard of a Bios chip programmer tbh, could you fill me in?
  10. Hello, looking at using a B450 MSI Bazooka V2 for a Ryzen 5 3600 build, problem is on MSI website for flashing the bios, I need an existing supported chip from Ryzen to do this, a Ryzen 3 1200 on Amazon is $65 and I don't have a micro center anywhere close to where I live, what would be the best or cheapest path forward to flash the Bios?
  11. Am I goin to have a hard time selling the CPU since the motherboard is bricked, so I can't really see if it works or not? Should I even try to sell it?
  12. What would be a good System to build with the parts I already have that work? (Cheap would be very preferable)
  13. Currently, I have a Prebuilt I am trying to fix, I have sunk $80 into and need to purchase a new $50 MicroAtx motherboard to finally make it post. At this point, it has yet to post and I have replaced the Ram and power supply. The current specs are an AMD A10 7800, 8 GB DDR3 Ram, 1 Tb HDD, and no GPU and it was an ASUS M32 pre-built. I do not know if the CPU works or not. I would like some advice if I should scrap the build for parts or just build a new system at this point. Any advice will be helpful.
