so my 280x has hdmi 1.4 right? that does 4k at 30hz right

    I'm pretty sure it does. The HDMI 1.4 specification, which allows for 3840x2160 video at up to 30 Hz, was released in 2008. Your 280x should support it.

    iirc Carribean Islands use the same I/O as Southern Islands. 

    Or maybe different DP standards but as far HDMI goes they both have 1.4.

    ight. i dont think that much 4k 60hz media is avalible anyway and i sure as hell cant run games at 4k unless its minecraft
